  9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. When the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

  16. The AC mains plug is used as the power disconnect device and it should remain readily accessible and operable during intended use. In order to completely disconnect the apparatus from power, the mains plug should be completely removed from the AC outlet socket.

  • Main Unit: The primary karaoke and speaker system.
  • AC Adapter: Power supply for the unit.
  • Wired Microphone x2: Two microphones for singing.
  • Manual: This instruction booklet.

Location of Controls (Top/Front)

The following controls are located on the top and front of the unit:

  • 1. Virtual Assistant microphone: Microphone input for voice assistant features.
  • 2. Handle release Button: Button to release the carrying handle.
  • 3. FUNCTION Button: Cycles through input modes (USB, Bluetooth, Line In).
  • 4. MASTER VOLUME + Button: Increases the main volume.
  • 5. Skip Button: Skips to the previous track.
  • 6. Display: Shows current mode, track information, etc.
  • 7. SKIP 10+ Button: Skips forward 10 tracks.
  • 8. Cradle: A holder for a mobile device.
  • 9. MIC VOLUME + Button: Increases microphone volume.
  • 10. Handle: For carrying the unit.
  • 11. ON/STANDBY Button: Powers the unit on or puts it in standby mode.
  • 12. Power indicator: Shows the power status of the unit.
  • 13. LIGHTS Button: Controls the disco light modes.
  • 14. REPEAT Button: Sets repeat playback modes (song, folder, all).
  • 15. MIC VOLUME – Button: Decreases microphone volume.
  • 16. Bluetooth indicator: Shows Bluetooth connection status.
  • 17. BLUETOOTH Button: Initiates Bluetooth pairing or mode selection.
  • 18. VOCALS OFF Button: Removes lead vocals from a track.
  • 19. VOICE EFFECTS Button: Selects built-in voice changer effects.
  • 20. USB slot: Port for connecting USB flash drives.
  • 21. Speaker: The main audio output.
  • 22. Virtual Assistant Button: Activates the voice assistant.
  • 23. PLAYBACK Button: Plays back recorded audio.
  • 24. RECORD Button: Starts recording audio.
  • 25. Record indicator: Shows recording status.
  • 26. MASTER VOLUME - Button: Decreases the main volume.
  • 27. ► (PLAY/PAUSE) Button: Starts or pauses playback.
  • 28. Skip Button: Skips to the next track.

Location of Controls (Rear)

The following controls and connections are located on the rear of the unit:

  • 1. Line In Jack: For connecting external audio sources via a 3.5mm cable.
  • 2. Mic 2 Jack: Second microphone input.
  • 3. Mic 1 Jack: Primary microphone input.
  • 4. Mic Holders: Slots to hold microphones when not in use.
  • 5. DC In Jack: Power input for the AC adapter.
  • 6. Battery Compartment: Location for installing batteries.

Location of Controls (Display)

The unit's display shows various indicators:

  • 1. Vocals Indicator: Shows the status of the Vocals Off function.
  • 2. Display: Main screen for information.
  • 3. Repeat Indicator: Shows the status of the repeat function.
  • 4. Play/Pause Indicator: Shows playback status.
  • 5. Assistant indicator: Shows the status of the Virtual Assistant.

Connection

Connecting Microphones

Connect a microphone into MIC jack 1 or MIC jack 2 as desired. Note: Do not drop or tap the microphone as damage to the microphone or speakers may occur. Do not twist the microphone by its cord, as this can damage the internal wiring.

Connecting to Line In Jack

Connect an external device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the LINE IN Jack on the back of the unit using an appropriate 3.5mm audio cable (not included). This allows audio from the external device to be played through the Singing Machine.

Note: Refer to page E14 for details on selecting and using the Line In function.

Connecting to AC Power

Insert the AC power cord into a conveniently located AC outlet (120V AC, 60Hz). Make all connections before connecting to AC power.

Inserting Batteries

The unit can be powered by eight "C" size alkaline batteries (not included). To install batteries:

  1. Slide the battery door in the direction indicated by the arrows to reveal the battery compartment.
  2. Insert eight (8) "C" size alkaline batteries, observing the correct polarity as shown in the diagram.
  3. Replace the cover tightly before operating.

Battery Precautions:

  • Use only the specified size and type of batteries.
  • Ensure correct polarity when installing batteries to prevent device damage.
  • Do not mix battery types (e.g., Alkaline and Carbon Zinc) or old and new batteries.
  • Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage damage.
  • Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries; they may overheat and rupture. Follow battery manufacturer's directions.
  • Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the product before charging and should only be charged under adult supervision.
  • Exhausted batteries must be removed from the product.
  • Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat, such as direct sunshine or fire.

Operation

Disco Lights

When the unit is turned on, Disco Light mode 1 is automatically activated. The lights will illuminate and synchronize with sound when you speak or sing into the microphone.

Press the LIGHTS button to select Light mode 2, which displays a light show but does not respond to the microphone. Press the LIGHTS button again to turn off the lights.

Cradle

To use the cradle for your mobile device:

  1. Lift the handle until you hear a "Click" sound; the handle will lock in position.
  2. Rest your mobile device on the cradle.
  3. To release the handle, press the HANDLE RELEASE button and push the handle back to its original position.

Playing Songs from the USB

  1. Connect the unit and press the [power symbol] button to turn it on. The power indicator will illuminate.
  2. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB slot.
  3. Repeatedly press the FUNC button to select USB mode. The display will show "USB" and then the total number of files on the drive.
  4. Press the [play/pause symbol] button to start playback. Press it again to pause; the Play/Pause indicator will blink. Press once more to resume normal playback.
  5. Adjust the volume to a comfortable level using the MASTER VOL + or - buttons.
  6. Connect microphone(s) and slide the ON/OFF switch on the microphone to the ON position.
  7. Press the MIC VOLUME + or - buttons as needed; this affects both microphones.
  8. SKIP: Advance or go back one track using the [skip back symbol] or [skip forward symbol] buttons. You can also skip ahead 10 tracks using the SKIP 10+ button.
  9. REPEAT: During playback, press the REPEAT button to cycle through repeat modes:
    • Press once: Repeat selected song (indicator blinks slowly).
    • Press twice: Repeat selected folder (indicator blinks rapidly).
    • Press thrice: Repeat all tracks on USB (indicator lights solid).
    • Press again: Cancel repeat function (indicator turns off).
  10. SING-ALONG WITH BUILT-IN VOICE CHANGERS: This unit features 6 built-in voice changers. Repeatedly press the VOICE EFFECTS button to select different vocal effects. The display will show the selected effect: EFO - NONE, EF1 - ECHO, EF2 - FEMALE, EF3 - MALE, EF4 - CHIPMUNK, EF5 - ROBOT, EF6 - RADIO.
  11. Press the [power symbol] button to turn the unit off. The power indicator will turn off.

Using a Bluetooth Device

  1. Connect the unit and press the [power symbol] button to turn it on. The power indicator will illuminate.
  2. Repeatedly press the FUNC button to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "bt". The unit will automatically search for and pair with a previously paired Bluetooth device. If no devices are paired, you will need to search for "SINGING MACHINE" on your Bluetooth-compatible device.
  3. To initiate pairing, press and hold the BT button. The Bluetooth indicator will flash alternate blue and red, and the display will flash "bt" & "pr" for 60 seconds. On your device's Bluetooth settings, search for a discoverable device and select "SINGING MACHINE".
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will light solid blue, and a chime will sound.
  5. NOTES:
    • If prompted for a passcode during pairing, enter "0000".
    • Some devices may require you to select "Use as Audio Device" after pairing.
    • If connection is lost, ensure the distance between the speaker and the Bluetooth device does not exceed 30 feet (10 meters).
  6. Start playback from your Bluetooth device. Press the [play/pause symbol] button to pause playback; the indicator will blink. Press again to resume.
  7. Adjust the volume using the MASTER VOL + or - buttons on the unit, as well as the volume on your Bluetooth device.
  8. Connect microphone(s) and slide the ON/OFF switch on the microphone to the ON position.
  9. Press the MIC VOLUME + or - buttons as needed; this affects both microphones.
  10. To sing without the lead singer, press the VOCALS OFF button. The vocal off indicator will light solid red. Press the VOCALS OFF button again to restore the lead singer.
    • NOTES: Lead vocal removal may work better on some songs than others. The lead vocal function will automatically stop when the REC button is pressed.
  11. SING-ALONG WITH BUILT-IN VOICE CHANGERS: (See USB section for details).
  12. RECORD YOUR VOCAL PERFORMANCE: To record your singing along with the music, press the REC button. Recording begins, and the record indicator lights solid. Press the REC button again to stop recording; the indicator turns off.
    • NOTES: A USB drive (not included) must be inserted into the USB slot to record. Recorded audio files are saved to the USB drive. Refer to the "Playing Songs from the USB" section to play back recordings. You can only record your singing when no voice effect is active (EFO - NONE).
  13. Simply press the PLAYBACK button to play back your latest voice recordings.
  14. To use voice control for your mobile device, press the VIRTUAL ASSISTANT button and speak to the unit. Ensure you speak towards the virtual assistant microphone located on the top of the unit.
    • NOTE: Voice control functions are only available in Bluetooth connection mode.
  15. Press the [power symbol] button to turn the unit off. The power indicator will turn off.

Using the LINE IN Jack

  1. Connect the unit and press the [power symbol] button to turn it on. The power indicator will illuminate.
  2. Connect the external unit to the LINE IN Jack on the back of this unit. This allows audio from the external unit to be played through your Singing Machine.
  3. Notes:
    • It is highly recommended to set the volume on the auxiliary unit to 1/3 or lower to avoid distortion.
    • Skipping files/tracks is not possible when using an external device via the Line In jack.
  4. Repeatedly press the FUNC button to select LINE IN mode. The display will show "AU".
  5. Adjust the volume to a comfortable level using the MASTER VOL + or - buttons on this unit or the volume control on your external device.
  6. Connect microphone(s) and slide the ON/OFF switch on the microphone to the ON position.
  7. Press the MIC VOLUME + or - buttons as needed; this affects both microphones.
  8. SING-ALONG WITH BUILT-IN VOICE CHANGERS: (See USB section for details).
  9. RECORD YOUR VOCAL PERFORMANCE: (See Bluetooth section for details).
  10. Simply press the PLAYBACK button to play back your latest voice recordings.
  11. Press the [power symbol] button to turn the unit off. The power indicator will turn off.

Troubleshooting Guide

No Power

  • Ensure the unit is powered on by pressing the [power symbol] button.
  • Confirm the AC adapter is securely connected to the back of the unit and to a working outlet.
  • Try connecting the unit to a different outlet.
  • If using batteries, replace them with new ones.
  • Strong Electro-Magnetic Interference may disturb normal function. If this occurs, restart the product according to the instruction manual. If the function does not resume, try using the machine in a different location.

No Sound – General

  • Check if MASTER VOLUME is set to minimum; raise the volume.
  • Ensure the correct FUNCTION mode (USB, Bluetooth, Line In) has been selected.
  • If using an external device, ensure its volume is turned up.

No Sound from Microphone

  • Verify the microphone is firmly connected to MIC 1 or MIC 2 jack.
  • Ensure the microphone's ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.
  • Check that the microphone's volume is not set too low.
  • Ensure MASTER VOLUME is not set to minimum.

File(s) on USB Not Playing

  • The file may be corrupted; try replacing it.
  • The file may not be in a format supported by this unit.
  • The connected USB device may not be supported.

Bluetooth Device Cannot Be Paired or Connected

  • Ensure the Bluetooth function is activated on your device (refer to your device's manual).
  • The system may not be in pairing mode; press and hold the BT button to restart pairing.

Music Not Available After Connecting Bluetooth

  • Ensure your Bluetooth device supports the A2DP Bluetooth profile.
  • Check the volume on the external Bluetooth device; it may be set too low or muted.
