BY-M100 Series Quick Setup Guide & Specifications
Introduction
The BOYA BY-M100 series includes miniature, omnidirectional condenser microphones designed for various recording devices.
BY-M100: Miniature size, omnidirectional 3.5mm TRS microphone for DSLR cameras, camcorders, and recorders.
BY-M110: Miniature size, omnidirectional 3.5mm TRRS microphone for smartphones, laptops, and tablets.
BY-M100D: Miniature size, omnidirectional MFi-certified Lightning microphone for iPhone, iPad, and iPod.
BY-M100UC: Miniature size, omnidirectional microphone for most Type-C devices.
BY-M100UA: Miniature size, omnidirectional microphone for USB devices, such as Windows and Mac computers.

Quick Setup Guide
BY-M100
1. Plug the 3.5 mm TRS connector into your recording device's audio input jack.
2. Rotate and turn the microphone towards the subject you want to record.
3. Turn on your recording device, then record a short audio segment to ensure the microphone is working correctly:
- If sound is too quiet, move the microphone closer.
- If sound is distorted, the audio is too loud; move the microphone farther away.
4. Use your recording device to record the audio you need.

BY-M110
1. Plug the 3.5 mm TRRS connector into your recording device's audio input jack.
2. Tilt and turn the microphone towards the subject you want to record.

User Guide (Windows & Monitoring)
This section provides instructions for connecting and using the BY-M100UA microphone with Windows computers, and for monitoring audio.
Connecting BY-M100UA to a Computer
1. Connect the microphone's USB plug to the computer.
2. Rotate the microphone to the desired recording angle.
3. If the sound is distorted (too loud), increase the recording distance. If the sound is too quiet, decrease the recording distance.
4. Set up input and output operations on your computer.
5. Begin recording.

Windows Computer Setup
1. Select the appropriate adapter cable (if needed) to connect the microphone and computer.
2. Set the microphone as the default device. Click the Start Menu → Control Panel → Hardware and Sound.

Monitoring and Adjusting Microphone Gain Control
If you want to hear microphone feedback from the computer, follow these steps:
1. Plug headphones into your computer's headphone jack.
2. Open the microphone's control panel and click "Listen to this device".
