Safety Information

To reduce the risk of serious injury, read and follow the safety instructions below before assembling and using this product.

  • Only qualified persons should install, operate, maintain, and repair this equipment. A qualified person is defined as one who, by possession of a recognized degree, certificate, or professional standing, or who by extensive knowledge, training and experience, has successfully demonstrated the ability to solve or resolve problems relating to the subject matter, the work, or the project and has received safety training to recognize and avoid the hazards involved.
  • During operation, keep everybody, especially children, away.

Read Instructions

  • Read and follow all labels and the operator's manual carefully before installing, operating, or servicing unit. Read the safety information at the beginning of the manual and in each section.
  • Use only genuine replacement parts from the manufacturer.
  • Perform installation, maintenance according to the operator's manual, industry standards, and national, state, and local codes.
  • Do not repair, modify, or disassemble the weld table or use with parts or accessories not supplied by the manufacturer. Use only approved components and accessories from the manufacturer.
  • Be sure all hardware is properly tightened.
  • Do not use the welding table until you are sure it is correctly assembled and working properly.
  • Before each use, inspect the weld table for damage and verify it is secure and installed properly.

[!] DANGER! ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!

  • Improper use of an electric welder and associated equipment can cause electric shock, injury and death! Read all precautions described in the specific Welder Manual to reduce the possibility of electric shock.
  • The electrode and work (or ground) circuits are electrically "hot" when the welder is on. Do not allow these "hot" parts or associated equipment to come in contact with your bare skin or wet clothing.
  • Be aware that the welding table will become part of the electrical welding circuit with a project attached. Separate yourself from the welding circuit by using insulating mats, protective clothing, leather welding gloves and insulated footwear to avoid being part of the welding circuit.
  • Be sure that the work piece is properly supported and grounded prior to beginning an electric welding operation.
  • Always attach the ground clamp to the piece to be welded and as close to the weld area as possible. This will give the least resistance and best weld.
  • Disconnect welder from power supply before attaching, removing or adjusting anything on the welding table.
  • Always wear dry, protective clothing and leather welding gloves and insulated footwear. Use suitable clothing made from durable flame-resistant material to protect your skin.
  • If other persons or pets are in the area of welding, use welding screens to protect bystanders from sparks and harmful arc rays.
  • Always weld in a clean, dry, well ventilated area. Do not operate a welder in humid, wet, rainy or poorly ventilated areas.

[!] DANGER! FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD!

  • Do not install or place unit on, over, or near combustible surfaces.
  • Do not install unit near flammables.
  • Use the welding table only for the recommended application. Do not use the welding table for non-welding operations, such as painting, sawing wood, or any activity that could produce flammable materials.
  • Before each use, empty the debris in the collection tray into a fireproof container.

[!] WARNING! FALL HAZARD!

  • Awkward, out of balance body positions may be attempted while trying to reach specific areas of objects placed on the welding table during use. Failure to ensure proper footing can quickly result in a fall which could inflict serious personal injury or property damage.
  • Always work in a clean, uncluttered environment.
  • Be sure there is sufficient working room around the welding table to allow for safe welding practices.
  • This welding table is designed for use in supporting projects during the welding process only.
  • DO NOT exceed the rated 794lbs (360kgs) of welding top, DO NOT exceed the rated 406lbs (184kgs) of storage tray.
  • DO NOT crawl, sit, stand, or climb on the Welding Table.
  • DO NOT use this welding table while working with or around explosives or corrosive liquids.

[!] CAUTION! USAGE HAZARDS!

  • The welding table consists of moderately heavy metal components which can cause potentially serious injuries if allowed to drop.
  • Avoid pinching hands while handling parts during assembly and wear thick, well-fitting work gloves to prevent cuts from handling sharp metal. The use of safety shoes is strongly recommended.
