ASUS RT-AX52 Dual Band Wi-Fi Router Quick Setup Guide
This guide provides a quick setup for your ASUS RT-AX52 Dual Band Wi-Fi Router.
Router Overview and LED Indicators
The ASUS RT-AX52 router features the following ports and indicators:
- Power LED: Indicates the power status of the router.
- WAN (Internet) LED: Shows the status of the internet connection.
- LAN 1~3 LEDs: Indicate the status of the wired local area network connections.
- 2.4GHz LED: Shows the activity on the 2.4GHz wireless band.
- 5GHz LED: Shows the activity on the 5GHz wireless band.
- WPS LED: Indicates the status of the Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
- LAN 1~3 ports: Connect wired devices to the router.
- WAN (Internet) port: Connect your modem to this port.
- Reset button: Resets the router to factory default settings.
- WPS button: Initiates Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
- Power (DCIN) port: Connect the power adapter here.
- Power switch: Turns the router on or off.
Initial Setup Steps
Step 1: Prepare Your Modem
Reboot your modem and ensure its connection is ready. To do this, unplug the modem from the power outlet for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
Step 2: Connect and Power On Your Router
Connect your ASUS router to the modem using the provided cables. Once the WAN LED turns ON, your router is ready for setup.
Step 3: Download the ASUS Router App
Scan the QR code provided to download the ASUS Router app. This app will guide you through the setup process.
