Basic Usage: Installing 2.5-inch Drives

To install a 2.5-inch drive into the EMK3104:

Pull the spring lock to open the front door.
Place the 2.5-inch HDD into the EMK3104 with the label facing up.

Note: Ensure the key lock is in a removable position to avoid damage.

Basic Usage: Ejecting a 2.5-inch Drive

To eject a 2.5-inch drive from the EMK3104:

Smoothly pull the spring lock to open the door. Ensure the key lock is on a removable position.
Carefully take the hard drive out from the EMK3104.

Important Precautions

To perform hot-swap function, the host system must also support hot-swap.
Keep the device out of high temperature and humid environments.
Enermax is not responsible for compensation or repair if the device or HDD is damaged due to improper operation.

Installation for Internal Use

Place the EMK3104 into a 3.5" HDD slot position and fix two screws on each side.

Installation for External Use

Use the USB 3.0 cable to link the EMK3104 with your PC or NB for external use.

The EMK3104 can be applied to any Enermax 5.25" bay mobile rack products such as EMK5101, EMK5102, and EMK5201U3.
