About IT6720

With its wide voltage and current range, the IT6720 digital DC power supplies are applied in many fields.

With a maximum power of 100W and output adjustable up to 60V/5A, auto control voltage/current slew rate, and power rate up to three times faster than other similar products, a single unit can replace three models (60V*1.6A / 32V*3A / 20V*5A), reducing your repeat investment.

Example

When you set the output voltage as 60V, because the max power of IT6720 is 100W, the max output current is 100W/60V = 1.6A.

When you change the output voltage to 30V, the output current is 100W/30V = 3.2A.

Calculate according to the above way: when the output voltage is 20V, the output current should be 5A. However, as the max rating current of IT6720 is 8A, the final max output current is 5A.

A graph illustrating the output curve of the IT6720. The Y-axis represents Voltage (V) from 0 to 60, and the X-axis represents Current (I) from 0 to 5. The curve shows that at 60V, the maximum current is 1.6A; at 30V, it's 3.2A; and at 20V, it's 5A. A label indicates 'Power 100%'.

Quick Start

Check out

Confirm whether the power supply has been destroyed in transportation. If there is any flaw, please contact the vendor.

Confirm whether the AC input voltage of IT6720 complies with the standards of your country or region.

Note: If switching input voltage, operate through the back panel switch (110V/220V).

After the checks above, power on by pressing the [Main Power ON/OFF] button.

Setting the voltage

Press the [DV/A] button to light up the voltage setup indicator [B]. This means the IT6720 is in voltage set mode.

Press the [A] or [B] button to light up the voltage setup indicator [B]. Now the voltage will rise/decline 1V once you rotate the rotary knob. Set the voltage to 12V.

The display shows '1.2.0.0 V' and '0.0.0.0 A' with the 'CV' indicator lit, signifying voltage setup mode. The 'Step indicator B' is active.

Setting the current

Press the [DV/A] button to light up the current setup indicator [A]. The IT6720 is in current set mode.

Press the [A] or [B] button to adjust the setup indicator to [A]. Now the current will rise/decline 1V once you rotate the rotary knob. Set the current to 4A.

The display shows '1.2.0.0 V' and '4.0.0.0 A' with the 'CC' indicator lit, signifying current setup mode. The 'Step indicator A' is active.

Enable output

Press the [On/Off] button to enable the IT6720 output. The voltage and current settings will blink for three seconds, and after that, the display value will change from the set value to the actual measured voltage and current value.

The 'Power off' lights will be turned off, which means the power is in output state.

Press [On/Off] again to shut the power supply's output.

The display shows measured voltage and current values. The 'Output OFF indicator' is shown.
