Safety Instructions for Car Jacks
- Use the car jack only for its intended purpose.
- Use the car jack exclusively for raising and lowering vehicles. Never lift people with the car jack!
- Always be careful and attentive when handling the car jack. Pay attention to your hands and fingers when attaching and removing accessories, such as the lifting rod, as there is a risk of crushing.
- Before lifting, secure the vehicle against accidental rolling away. Apply the parking brake and engage a gear. Lock the wheels that cannot be lifted with suitable wedges.
- The car jack is only intended for lifting and lowering the vehicle. Secure the lifted vehicle against accidental lowering by using suitable chassis stands. Do not work under the lifted load if it is not secured by suitable means.
- The manual force required is more than 400N; therefore, we recommend enlisting a second person for help.
- Make sure that the lifted vehicle cannot move on the car jack.
- Only use the car jack on a firm, level, and dry surface. Loads can easily slip on unpaved, uneven, or damp/wet surfaces.
- Always support the vehicle in the middle section of the jacking point.
- Do not exceed the permissible nominal load! The load on the car jack must not exceed 3.0 tons, as it may be damaged in the event of overloading (e.g., overloading of mechanical properties), which could compromise personal safety.
- Ensure the car jack is centrally located and stable with the load support under the lifting point of the vehicle. Only attach the car jack to the lifting points marked by the vehicle manufacturer. Suitable adapters may be required to avoid damage to the vehicle's mounting points. Refer to your vehicle's operating manual for more information. Consult an authorized specialist workshop if you have any doubts regarding the correct mounting points.
- When lifting and lowering, ensure that no pets, persons, or body parts are in the area of the load arm, cylinder, or mechanisms.
- Never allow persons to be in or under the vehicle being lifted while using the car jack.
- Ensure that no persons lean against the lifted vehicle.
- Do not use the car jack outdoors in frost or rain.
- Observe the car jack and the vehicle being lifted while the device is in use. Do not let the car jack and vehicle out of your sight.
- Before each use, check the car jack for damage, oil leaks, corrosion, and missing parts such as rollers or safety pins. Do not use the car jack if it is damaged or parts are missing.
- No conversions or modifications that adversely affect the car jack's conformity with EN 1494:2000+A1:2008 are permitted.
- The safety valve is correctly set at the factory and does not need readjustment.
- Keep the notices and symbols on the car jack in good condition.
- Children and persons with mental or physical impairments must not handle the device, as they cannot correctly assess the hazards.
- Do not use the car jack under the following circumstances:
- Under difficult conditions (e.g., very cold or hot climate, strong magnetic radiation).
- In connection with explosive substances, mines, etc.
- When lifting loads containing materials such as molten metal, acid, radioactive material, or loose goods not connected to each other.
- In contact with food.
- On ships.
- Only use supplied accessories.
- Position the car jack so that it lifts only the areas of the vehicle suitable for the model.
- Always support the load with appropriate vehicle supports after lifting the vehicle, before working on it.
- Do not overload the car jack beyond its nominal capacity, as this can cause damage or malfunction.
- This car jack is designed for use only on hard, level surfaces capable of carrying the load. Use on other surfaces can lead to instability and possible slippage.
- Center the load on the lifting plate before lifting the vehicle. Off-center loads can cause slippage or damage to the jack and your vehicle.
- KEEP YOUR HANDS AND FEET AWAY FROM THE HINGE MECHANISM OF THE CAR JACK AND FROM THE FLOOR CONTACT AREA WHEN LOWERING THE LOAD!
- THIS CAR JACK IS ONLY DESIGNED TO LIFT ONE PART OF THE VEHICLE. DO NOT MOVE OR REPOSITION THE VEHICLE WHEN IT HAS BEEN LIFTED WITH THE CAR JACK.
- If an oil leak occurs, discontinue use. Ensure no further oil leaks and promptly collect and dispose of any leaked oil in appropriate facilities.
- If the car jack no longer lowers as desired, support the vehicle with chassis stands to prevent unintended lowering. Obtain another car jack to raise the vehicle sufficiently to safely remove the defective jack. Seek professional assistance if unsure.
- Always support the lifted vehicle with chassis stands. Never use the floor jack alone to support the load. Prolonged load holding can overload the appliance and cause injury or damage.

- Remove the inspection plate.
- Remove the oil filler nozzle cap while the jack is lowered. Position the jack vertically with the handle socket pointing down. The oil level should be at the bottom of the oil filler opening. Do not overfill. Always top up with new, clean hydraulic oil for floor jacks.
- Replace the oil filler nozzle cap and inspection plate.
- Check the jack's operation.
- Vent the hydraulic system if necessary.
Venting the Hydraulic System
- Turn the release valve anti-clockwise one full turn to open.
- Pump eight full strokes with the handle.
- Turn the release valve clockwise to close.
- Pump with the handle until the plunger reaches maximum height, then continue pumping several times to release trapped air.
- Carefully and slowly press the oil filler nozzle cap to release trapped air.
- Turn the release valve anti-clockwise one full turn and lower the plunger to its lowest position. Use force if necessary.
- Turn the release valve clockwise to the closed position and check pump action. Repeat steps if necessary to completely remove trapped air.
