Product Overview

The product overview shows the main components of the speaker:

How to Use

Charging

When charging the speaker while it is off, the indicator light will be orange and will turn off once fully charged. If the speaker is on during charging, there is no charging indication. When the battery is low, the indicator light blinks orange, indicating that a recharge is needed soon.

Turning On

Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The indicator light will turn blue for 1 second, signifying the speaker is on. The speaker will then be in a state of waiting for a connection, especially on its first use.

Turning Off

Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn off the speaker.

Resetting

If you encounter issues with sound, Bluetooth connectivity, or battery charging, press and hold the power button for 12 seconds. The reset process is complete when the indicator light stays orange for 1 second.

Connecting to a Device

To connect the speaker to a device, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The indicator light will stay blue for 1 second, and then blink blue, indicating it's ready for connection. Enable Bluetooth on your device and search for "Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker". If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000". Once connected, the indicator light will remain solid blue. If the speaker is not connected to any device within 30 minutes, it will automatically turn off.

Automatic Connection

The Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker will automatically connect to the last paired Bluetooth device upon being turned on. If no connection history is found or the connection fails, the indicator light will blink blue, and the speaker will enter the awaiting connection mode. If automatic connection fails, manually connect the speaker via your device's Bluetooth settings.

Connecting to a New Device

Ensure the speaker is turned off. To prevent automatic connection to a previously paired device, press and hold the power button for 6 seconds. The indicator light will stay blue for 1 second, and the speaker will enter the awaiting connection mode. Enable Bluetooth on your new device and connect to the speaker.

Connection Interrupted

If your device moves out of the speaker's wireless range, the connection will be interrupted. If the device is brought back within range within 30 minutes, the speaker will automatically reconnect. If no reconnection occurs within 30 minutes, the speaker will turn off automatically.

True Wireless Stereo Function

This function allows two Mi Portable Bluetooth Speakers to connect to each other for a stereo audio experience.

Enabling True Wireless Stereo Function

Method A: Connect Speaker A to your device. Press Speaker A's power button twice to enter TWS pairing mode. Turn on Speaker B, ensuring it's not connected to any device. The two speakers will connect automatically.

Method B: Turn on two Mi Portable Bluetooth Speakers, ensuring neither is connected to any device. Press the power button of either speaker twice to enter TWS pairing mode. The speakers will connect automatically. Then, enable Bluetooth on your device and connect to the speakers.

Disabling True Wireless Stereo Function

To disable the TWS function, press the power button of either speaker twice.

Notes:

• When speakers are successfully connected to your device, TWS is enabled. The speaker with a solid blue indicator is the right channel; the one with a blinking blue indicator is the left channel. Play/Pause functions are available on both speakers.
• During calls, if TWS is enabled, only the right channel speaker will function.
