Device Overview

Installation
Mounting the 2428GN
The 2428GN can be mounted on a wall or placed on a flat surface. For wall mounting, use appropriate screws (not included) to secure the device through the mounting slots on the back panel. A diagram shows the back of the device with mounting slots and illustrates wall attachment.
Connecting the 2428GN
Follow these steps to connect your DZS 2428GN device:
- Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the device and plug the adapter into a power outlet. A diagram shows the power adapter connecting to the device.
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the WAN port on the device and the other end to your modem or internet source. A diagram illustrates this connection.
- (Optional) Connect computers or other devices to the LAN ports using Ethernet cables.
Caution and Safety
General Warnings
⚠️ To avoid electrical shock, disconnect the power cord before servicing or removing the unit. Ensure that the unit is properly grounded. Do not operate the unit in wet or damp conditions. Do not open the unit casing; refer servicing to qualified personnel only. The power adapter is used as a disconnect device; its access shall remain readily operable.

Limited Warranty
DZS warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or modification.
Web Access
You can access the 2428GN via a web browser for configuration and management. To do so, connect your computer to one of the 2428GN's LAN ports. Open a web browser and navigate to the default IP address: 192.168.0.1. Log in using the default credentials: username 'admin' and password 'admin'.
