Product Overview

The Redmi Buds 5 are wireless earphones designed for a seamless audio experience. This manual covers their setup, usage, and safety precautions.

First Time Using

Take out earbuds: Remove the earbuds from the charging case.

Wearing: Place the earbuds in your ears correctly, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. The touch area is located on the upper part of the earbud stem.

Charging

Place the earbuds into the charging case. Connect the charging case to a power source using a Type-C cable.

Powering On/Off

Turning on: Take the earbuds out of the charging case. They will automatically turn on.

Turning off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case. They will automatically turn off.

Connecting

First time connection: Open the charging case lid with the earbuds inside. The earbuds will enter pairing mode. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and select 'Redmi Buds 5' from the list of available devices.

Automatic connection: Once paired, the earbuds will automatically connect to your device when you open the charging case lid near your smartphone with Bluetooth enabled.

Dual-device connection: The Redmi Buds 5 support connection with two devices simultaneously. Refer to the app for detailed instructions.

Restoring Factory Settings

To reset the earbuds, place them in the charging case, open the lid, and press and hold the touch area for a specified duration (e.g., 10 seconds) until a confirmation prompt appears.

Function Overview

The Redmi Buds 5 offer various functions controlled via touch gestures on the earbuds. These may include play/pause, skip track, answer/end calls, and activating voice assistants. Specific gestures are indicated in the manual.

Connecting with App

Scan the QR code to download and install the Xiaomi Earbuds app to unlock additional features and customize settings. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your earbuds.

(Android & iOS) Scan the QR code to download the Xiaomi Earbuds App. Note: Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled during the connection process. Place the earbuds in the charging box, open the lid, and ensure your smartphone is near the box.
