DO NOT RETURN YOUR PRODUCT TO THE STORE. PLEASE CONTACT BABY TREND FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS, SERVICE AND REPAIR.

The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within the first 180 days of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered or removed serial number, invalidates all claims against the manufacturer. Any property damage during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user.

The Customer Service Department can be contacted at 1 (800) 328-7363, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm PST. Return Authorizations are required prior to returning product(s) to Baby Trend®. Warranty is valid only in North America.

Important Safety Information

WARNING: DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY CAN OCCUR

• Only to be used if child's shoulders are below the lowest harness slot.
• Do Not use if child's shoulders are even or above the lowest harness slot.
• Do Not use with a child whose weight is greater than 8 lbs.
• Only for use with approved Baby Trend® Infant Carriers: Models Flex-Loc, EZ Flex-Loc, EZ Loc, Inertia and Secure.
• Discontinue use when child's shoulders are even or above the lowest harness slot or child's weight is greater than 8 lbs.
• Do Not use without the small infant insert for children whose weight is less than 5 lbs.

Installation Steps

1. Place child in the infant car seat and confirm if the lowest belt slot is even or below the child's shoulder.

   • If the lowest belt slot is even or below the child's shoulder, the small infant insert is NOT needed. Store the small infant insert in a secure place when not in use.
   • If the lowest belt slot is above the child's shoulder, proceed to step 2.

2. Install the small infant insert only when the child is removed from the infant carrier.

   Pull back the lower half of the seat pad (refer to Fig. 1 in original document).

3. Place the small infant insert between the harness straps and the crotch buckle, as shown in (refer to Fig. 2 in original document).

4. Lower the seat pad and fasten it around the infant car seat.

5. Place child in the infant car seat and check if the child's shoulder is even or above the lowest slot. Be sure harness straps locate into the notches on the sides of the insert.
