Tyre Inflation
- With the On/Off button (1) in the Off position, unwind the power cord completely from the compartment (9) and plug it into your vehicle's 12V power plug socket. The digital display should show zero.
- Press the PSI, BAR & kPa button (8) to select the desired pressure format (PSI, BAR, or kPa).
- Uncoil the high-pressure hose and screw the tyre valve connector (5) onto the tyre valve. Ensure a secure connection. The gauge will display the current pressure.
- To start inflating, press the On/Off button (1). The pressure will increase on the display (3).
- When the desired pressure is reached, switch off the inflator using the On/Off button (1).
- Remove the tyre valve connector from the tyre.
Note: When inflating multiple tyres, follow the procedure for each tyre. If the power supply is disconnected, always reconnect the 12V power plug before connecting the high-pressure hose to the tyre valve. If the display reads 0.00 or 'Err', refer to the troubleshooting guide.
Warnings and Safety Precautions
- Never allow children to use this tyre inflator.
- Never leave unattended when running.
- Never overinflate.
- Always use in a safe area away from traffic and other dangers.
- Never run for more than 10 minutes. After each 10-minute run, allow the inflator to cool for 10 minutes.
- Inspect the tyre inflator before each use.
- Do not leave connected to the 12V DC socket unattended.
- Do not kink or block the air hose while the compressor is working.
- Do not use the compressor if bent, broken, melted, burnt, wet, or if any components are damaged.
- Only use the adaptors supplied with the device.
- The compressor contains no user-serviceable parts – DO NOT OPEN.
Warning! Compressed Air Can Be Dangerous
Always ensure correct tyre pressures. Under or overinflated tyres can be dangerous.
- Correct tyre pressure is vital for road safety.
- Always ensure that regular weekly checks are carried out to the vehicle manufacturer's recommended pressures, including the spare tyre (excluding space saver tyres). Always check before a long journey or after loading or unloading the vehicle.
- Always check pressures at ambient temperature, never immediately after a long journey.
Troubleshooting
Gauge does not illuminate: Check plug insertion, 12V socket cleanliness, and internal fuse (15A glass type). Ensure the car's ignition is in the accessory position.
Unit fails to run: Uncoil the power lead. Ensure the 12V socket and plug are clean and tight.
Power lead/plug becomes hot: Uncoil the power lead to its full length.
Gauge appears to read incorrectly or is unreadable: Ensure the valve connector is correctly fitted to the tyre valve.
Gauge reads 0.0 or ERR: Disconnect the valve connector from the tyre. Remove the plug from the power source for at least 5 seconds, then reconnect. Press and hold the yellow reset button until the display shows all digits and returns to 0.0. Reconnect the valve connector to the tyre.
Unit is running but tyre is not inflating: Ensure the tyre valve is correctly connected to the valve connector.
