Technical Data

This section provides detailed technical specifications for various tire sizes, including:

The data is presented in tables for each tire size, detailing specifications for different compounds (S5C and S5C+) and their suitability for hill climbing.

Recommendations

Michelin guarantees tire integrity for a limited number of stints, determined by factors such as maximum load, maximum speed, rim type, camber, and minimum hot pressure. A stint is defined as the mileage indicated, including a maximum of 2 pit stops and/or driving without a safety car.

Tyres should be replaced if they reach the indicated mileage or if they are completely worn out, whichever comes first. These recommendations are valid unless the tires are damaged (e.g., punctures, flat spots).

For rain tires, recommendations are for wet conditions only and not for dry or drying tracks. It is recommended that the temperature difference between the inside and outside shoulder of the tire be less than 20°C after a run.

Specific recommendations for pressure and number of stints based on camber are provided for each tire model and size, detailing minimum hot pressure for various conditions.

Example Recommendations (20/54-13 Slick S5C - S5C+):

Pressure Recommendations based on Camber and Stints:

Carrossage / Camber 1.4 Bar 1.45 Bar 1.55 Bar 1.65 Bar 1.75 Bar 1.85 Bar

-4.0°011122
-3.5°011222
