Rhino® Water Filter Limited Warranty

Who Is Covered

Aquasana and its suppliers ("Manufacturer") warrant to the owner of the home where the water filter is initially installed ("Owner"). The warranty is restricted to the water filter used in a single-family residence in the United States of America and is void if moved from its original installation location. Product registration is not required to receive warranty coverage.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship during the limited warranty period for your Aquasana Rhino Whole House Filtration System, including sub-components purchased with the original system (which may include pre-filter, post-filter, and fittings). The water filter is warranted only when installed, operated, and maintained according to the instructions found on Aquasana.com. Installation should be such that any leaks will not cause damage to the installation area.

For How Long

This warranty runs for the period specified in the chart below from the date of purchase by a consumer ("Warranty Period"). Proof of purchase is required for warranty coverage. Water conditions and use rates may affect the filter's functional lifespan, and this Limited Warranty does not extend to the full estimated life span of the filter.

What Aquasana Will Do

If a defect is found, the Manufacturer will provide a replacement that fulfills the remaining estimated lifespan/capacity of your original purchase, including installation instructions. If an identical model is unavailable due to industry standards or product improvements, a replacement of comparable remaining capacity and functionality will be provided, potentially with an additional charge for upgraded features. For defective component parts, the Manufacturer will furnish a replacement within the warranty period. The Manufacturer reserves the right to examine alleged defects and may request the return of the water filter or component parts for inspection. Returned items must include all component parts and be individually tagged with model number, purchase date, and installation date.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty applies only to products purchased from authorized Aquasana resellers. It does not cover filter cartridges or systems not installed according to instructions, or those that have been abused or operated incorrectly. To the extent permitted by applicable state law, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are excluded. The Manufacturer is not liable for incidental, consequential, special, or contingent damages or expenses arising from defects or use of the water filter. The Manufacturer is also not liable for water damage arising from defects or use. Specific exclusions include damage caused by:

• Misuse, alteration, neglect, or accident.
• Failure to install in accordance with applicable local plumbing and building codes or regulations.
• Use of aftermarket equipment not approved by the manufacturer.
• Exposure to highly corrosive conditions.
• Lack of continuous potable water supply.
• Operation outside factory calibrated temperature limits.
• Removal from original installation location.
• Installation in direct sunlight or exposure to freezing temperatures.
• Iron or sediment build-up.
• Clogging due to failure to replace the Pre-Filter cartridge.
• Fire, flood, or acts of God.
• Over-pressurization of the water line.
• Use of non-genuine Aquasana parts, including replacement filters, faucets, or diverter valves.

The owner is responsible for all labor and other expenses incurred in the removal, repair, or replacement of the water filter or component parts, including shipping, handling, installation, and any required permits or materials.

To receive service under this warranty, contact Aquasana (A. O. Smith Water Treatment (North America), Inc.) at 1-866-662-6885 or support@aquasana.com within the Warranty Period. You must describe the problem to a customer service representative who will verify warranty status and determine the resolution. Proof of purchase and proof of proper installation are required.

Warranty Registration

Warranty registration is not required for coverage. However, if you purchased from a retailer or authorized reseller, you may complete the online warranty registration form at warranty@aquasana.com. Proof of purchase from an Aquasana authorized dealer is required for registration.

This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
