Safety Precautions
This product is professional lighting equipment and should be used under the guidance of a professional lighting technician or expert. Please adhere to the following basic safety precautions:
- Read this user manual and precautions carefully before use.
- Children are prohibited from using professional lighting equipment. Ensure adult supervision to prevent accidents.
- This product is not for general illumination. Avoid use if you have eye conditions or are sensitive to light.
- Do not touch hot parts of the LED lamp beads while the light is on.
- Never look directly at the LED lamp beads when the light is on. Avoid prolonged exposure to strong light. If you experience discomfort, turn off the light and seek medical attention.
- If the lamp beads are damaged or deformed, stop using the equipment and contact the manufacturer or a qualified service technician for replacement.
- Do not use damaged equipment or accessories. Ensure they are inspected and repaired by a qualified service professional.
- If the product casing is dropped, crushed, or subjected to strong impact, discontinue use as internal components may be exposed, posing an electric shock hazard.
- Use extension cords with a current rating equal to or higher than the equipment's rating to prevent overheating.
- Properly manage power cords to avoid tripping hazards and overheating. Use only certified power cords.
- Always unplug the equipment from the power outlet before cleaning or maintenance. Do not pull the power cord to unplug.
- Ensure the equipment is connected to a grounded outlet.
- Do not disassemble the product. Contact authorized service personnel for repairs.
- Ensure the equipment is completely cooled before storage. Store in a dry, ventilated place.

Flight Case

Installation and Removal
Attaching the U-shaped Bracket
- Place the light on a flat surface and press the button on the quick install device to remove the wrench.
- Align the U-shaped bracket with the quick install devices on both sides of the light and insert them. Lock the wrenches on both sides.
- Attach the light to a roller stand and securely lock the stand's locking knob.
Detaching the U-shaped Bracket
- Hold the U-shaped bracket, remove it from the roller stand, and place it on a flat surface.
- Press and hold the button on the quick install device, release the wrench, and detach the U-shaped bracket.
Note: This product is heavy. Exercise caution during installation and removal to prevent injury.
Attaching Protective Cover / Reflector
Align the protective cover or reflector with the mount and rotate clockwise to attach.
Detaching Protective Cover / Reflector
Press and hold the mount lock pusher, rotate counter-clockwise to detach the protective cover or reflector.
Note: Always remove the protective cover before lighting.
Connecting the Controller to a Light Stand
Loosen the handle of the controller mounting device, insert the light stand pole, and tighten the handle clockwise to lock the mounting device. Then, align the quick install device with the mounting device's slot and insert it.
DMX Controller Connection
1. Wireless DMX Connection
Connect LumenRadio CRMX TX or DMX512 to the light using wireless DMX.
2. Wired DMX Connection
Connect DMX512 using wired DMX. Multiple units can be connected in series.
Note: The diagrams show DMX512 controller connection methods. Controllers and cables are sold separately.
Power Supply
AC Power Cord Instructions
The yellow wire is the ground wire, the black wire is the neutral wire, and the red wires are live wires. Connect the plug according to the corresponding wires. Use within the specified voltage range. Do not connect to a 380V power source. Improper operation may cause damage, and Godox will not be responsible for warranty, repair, exchange, or compensation.
Power Switch
After connecting to power, press the power switch to turn the device on or off.
CCT Mode
Press the MODE button briefly to enter mode selection. Rotate and press the select dial to choose CCT mode. In this mode, you can adjust DIM and CCT. Rotating the select dial clockwise increases parameters, while counter-clockwise decreases them.
- DIM Range: 0.0% - 100.0%
- CCT Range: 2800K - 10000K
- GM Range: -100% - +100%
FX Mode
Press the MODE button briefly to enter mode selection. Rotate and press the select dial to choose FX mode. Select from 11 effect types and adjust their parameters. Rotating the select dial clockwise increases parameters, while counter-clockwise decreases them.
- 1. Flash: Simulates camera flash or traditional flash.
- 2. Lightning: Simulates natural lightning for tense or mysterious atmospheres.
- 3. Overcast: Simulates cloudy conditions for gloomy or sad atmospheres.
- 4. Bulb Failure: Simulates a burnt-out bulb for a dim atmosphere.
- 5. TV: Simulates TV or screen light for a cold, mechanical, or digital atmosphere.
- 6. Candle: Simulates candlelight for a soft, warm, flickering atmosphere.
- 7. Fire: Simulates firelight for a bright, warm, sparkling atmosphere.
- 8. Fireworks: Simulates fireworks for a festive, colorful, and romantic atmosphere.
- 9. Explosion: Simulates explosion light for a bright, intense, sparkling atmosphere.
- 10. Welding: Simulates welding light for a hot, mechanical atmosphere.
- 11. SOS: Simulates SOS signals for distress or emergency situations.
Note: To adjust parameters, rotate the select dial. Press to move to the next parameter. For manual trigger, press the select dial once to trigger the effect. Press the MODE button to return to the effect interface.
MENU Settings
Press the MENU button to enter the menu screen. Rotate and press the select dial to navigate through the settings options. Press the MENU button again to return to the menu screen.

DMX Settings
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the DMX screen and adjust settings.
- Address: 001-512
- DMX Mode: CCT (8/16 Bit), FX (8/16 Bit), ULTIMATE DMX (8/16 Bit)
- RDM Status: On/Off
- DMX Loss: Hold Last Command / Blackout
- Termination: On/Off
- Extend DMX Channels: On/Off
- DMX Table: Scan QR code for DMX table.
Note: For DMX/RDM control, refer to the DMX mode specification document available on the Godox website.
CRMX Settings
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the CRMX interface. Rotate the select dial while pressing to turn on/off or reset.
Downloading the Godox KNOWLED App
Scan the QR code to download the Godox KNOWLED app (available for tablets only).
CRMX BT to CRMX
- Connect an Android/iOS tablet to the CRMX BT module via Godox TimoLink TRX.
- Connect Godox TimoLink TRX to CRMX devices or DMX devices (with Godox TimoLink RX).
- Add devices to the Godox KNOWLED app for control.
Note: TimoLink TRX and TimoLink RX are sold separately.
Bluetooth Settings
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the Bluetooth interface. Rotate the select dial to toggle Bluetooth on/off. To reset Bluetooth, rotate the select dial to 'Reset', then press to select 'Apply' or 'Cancel'. The MAC address is displayed in the upper left corner.
Downloading the GODOX Light App
Scan the QR code to download the Godox Light smartphone app (available for Android and iOS).
Note: The app must be installed on the device used for connection. Resetting the light may be required when switching devices. App version 3.0 or higher is required.
Network Settings
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the network settings interface and adjust parameters.
- Network Mode: DHCP / Manual
- IP Address: DHCP assigned or manual entry (AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD)
- Subnet Mask: DHCP assigned or manual entry (255.BBB.CCC.DDD)
- Gateway: DHCP assigned or manual entry (AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD)
Art-Net & sACN Settings
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the Art-Net & sACN interface and adjust parameters.

Accessory Control
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the accessory control screen and toggle optics recognition on/off.
Note: If optical accessories are not properly attached, the light will not illuminate even if optics recognition is enabled.
Power Limit
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the power limit screen. Toggle on/off and adjust the maximum limit.
- Power Limit: On/Off
- Maximum Limit: 10% - 100%
Note: If the power supply does not meet requirements, this function can be enabled when the device is powered off. Pressing LOCK and MODE buttons simultaneously during startup enters the power limit mode (default 50%).
Dimming Curves
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the dimming curve screen. Select from Linear, S-Curve, Exponential, or Logarithmic.
Smoothing
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the smoothing settings screen. Select from Default, Smooth, or Off.
- Default: Basic smoothing for smooth dimming and reduced response time.
- Smooth: Smoother dimming with slower response time.
- Off: No smoothing for fastest response time.
Fan Settings
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the fan screen. Select from Off, Auto, Medium, or High.
Display Settings
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the display screen. Adjust display brightness from 10% to 100%.
Language Settings
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the language interface. Select between Simplified Chinese and English.
Version & Upgrade
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the version & upgrade screen to check firmware version and upgrade procedures.
Controller Firmware Upgrade
- Download the latest firmware from the official Godox website (https://www.godox.com/firmware-continuous-light) onto a U disk.
- Turn off the device. Insert the U disk with the new firmware into the USB-A port.
- Turn on the device; it will automatically enter the upgrade screen.
- After completion, return to the main screen.
Note: Download new firmware onto the U disk. The USB-A port supports 5V=1.5A power supply. Do not connect USB devices exceeding the rated current.
Light Body Firmware Upgrade
- Download the firmware upgrade software G3 and product firmware (.bin) from the official Godox website (https://www.godox.com).
- Connect the computer interface to the light head's USB-C port using a USB cable.
- Open the G3 application, click 'Open File' to select the .bin file, click 'upgrade', and wait for the upgrade to complete.
Note: No connection to the controller is required when upgrading the light head.
Factory Reset
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the factory reset screen. Select 'Yes' or 'No'. Selecting 'Yes' will automatically reset and restart the device, then display language options (Simplified Chinese and English). Brightness will automatically set to 100%.
Fixture Information
Rotate and press the select dial to enter the fixture information screen to check model, UID, firmware version, and temperature.

Lock Settings
Press the LOCK button briefly. A lock icon will appear, indicating the panel is locked. Press again to unlock.
Note: The lock function is only for the controller panel.
Preset Settings
Press the PRESET button briefly to enter the preset effect screen. Rotate and press the select dial to select preset effects 1-20.
- Press the MODE button briefly to enter mode selection and set desired parameters.
- Press the PRESET button briefly to enter the preset screen. To save the current effect as Preset 1, select Preset 1 and press the select dial to save.
- Rotate and press the select dial to apply, delete, save, or cancel preset groups.
NFC Addition
Use your smartphone's NFC function and the light's NFC chip to connect and add the light to the Godox Light app.
- Prerequisites: Light must support NFC addition, Godox Light app V3.2.4 or higher, and smartphone's Bluetooth and NFC functions must be enabled.
- Operation: Launch the Godox Light app, navigate to the relevant scene, click '+', select 'NFC Addition', scan the NFC sensing area of your smartphone against the light's sensing area, and add it. Batch addition is also supported.
Note: Android systems complete addition by closing the sensing area. iOS systems require clicking '<'. Click the '>' icon on the right of NFC to display the pop-up window and add.

Warranty Period
The warranty period for the product and related parts is as stated in the 'Product Repair Warranty Information'. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase, as recorded on the warranty card.
How to Obtain Repair Service
To request repair service, contact the retailer or an authorized service center directly. You can also call our after-sales service. Our service personnel will arrange for service. Please provide a valid warranty card when applying for warranty service. If a valid warranty card cannot be provided, Godox may provide repair service at its discretion after verifying that the product or part falls within the warranty scope, but this is not an obligation.
Cases Not Covered by Warranty
The warranty does not apply if:
- The product or part is beyond the applicable warranty period.
- The product is used, maintained, or stored improperly, leading to failure or damage (e.g., improper transportation, use outside of intended purpose, improper insertion/removal of external devices, drops, crushing, exposure to unsuitable temperatures, solvents, pH, or humid environments).
- The product or part was modified, repaired, or serviced by an unauthorized entity.
- The original markings on the product or part have been altered or removed.
- The warranty card is missing or invalid.
- Failures or damage caused by unauthorized software, non-standard operations, or unauthorized modifications.
- Failures or damage caused by force majeure or accidents.
- Failures or damage not caused by the product itself but by other products.
In such cases, please contact the responsible party for resolution. Godox will not be liable for any issues arising from the use of parts, accessories, or software not approved by Godox, or for normal wear and tear.
