Getting Started
This guide provides instructions for the Soehnle Page Profi 200 digital kitchen scale.
Initial Setup
To begin, ensure the scale is placed on a stable, flat surface. The scale operates on 3 x 1.5V Size AAA batteries.
Battery Installation:
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
The display will show 'Lo' when the battery needs to be changed.
Operating the Scale
Turning On/Off:
Press the power button [power-symbol] to turn the scale on. The display will show '0'. The scale will automatically turn off after 8 minutes of inactivity.
Sensor-Touch Operation:
The scale features a Sensor-Touch function. Gently touch the keys to operate. Avoid pressing too hard.
Unit Conversion:
The scale can display weight in grams (g), ounces (oz), and pounds (lb). To convert units, press the unit conversion button [unit-conversion-symbol]. The display will cycle through the available units (g, oz, lb).
Weighing:
- Turn the scale on.
- Place the item to be weighed on the scale platform.
- The weight will be displayed.
Tare Function (Adding ingredients):
- Turn the scale on and ensure the display shows '0'.
- Place a container on the scale.
- Press the TARE button [tare-button-symbol]. The display will reset to '0'.
- Add the first ingredient to the container.
- Add subsequent ingredients to the container. The scale will display the net weight of the added ingredients.
Overload Indicator:
If the weight on the scale exceeds the maximum capacity of 15 kg / 33 lb, the display will show 'OVERLOAD'. Remove the excess weight to prevent damage.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean the scale with a damp cloth.
- Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents.
Safety Instructions
- This scale is intended for household use only.
- Do not drop the scale or subject it to strong impacts.
- Keep the scale away from water and moisture.
- Do not use the scale in a dishwasher.
- Keep out of reach of children.
