Operation and Features
This document provides instructions for the Soehnle Page Comfort 400 digital kitchen scale.
Key Functions:
- Weighing and Adding (Tare Function): Allows you to weigh ingredients and then add more by pressing the TARE button, which resets the display to zero.
- Unit Conversion: Easily switch between grams (g) and pounds/ounces (lb:oz).
- Clock Function: Set and display the time.
Getting Started:
1. Inserting Batteries:
Open the battery compartment and insert 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity.
2. Using the Scale:
Place the scale on a flat, stable surface. Gently touch the Sensor-Touch buttons.
Weighing Process:
- Turn on the scale by pressing the ON button.
- Place your item on the scale. The weight will be displayed.
- To add more ingredients, place them on the scale and press the TARE button. The display will reset to 0. You can then add more ingredients.
Setting the Clock:
- Press the CLOCK button to enter clock setting mode.
- Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the desired time.
- Press the CLOCK button again to confirm and display the set time.
Display Messages:
- OVERLOAD: The weight exceeds the maximum capacity (Max 10 kg / 22 lb). Remove items to avoid damage.
- CHANGE BATTERY: Replace the batteries.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Clean the scale with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
Safety Information:
- Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
- Avoid dropping the scale or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Keep away from children.
- Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
- Dispose of the electronic device responsibly at designated recycling points.
