Information for Your Safety

Battery Disposal

Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Please use your local return system for used batteries. Only return discharged batteries. Batteries are typically discharged when the device they power switches off or indicates "battery empty," or when the battery no longer functions correctly after extended use.

To prevent short circuits, cover the battery contacts with an adhesive strip.

Germany: As a consumer, you have a legal obligation to return used batteries. You can return used batteries free of charge wherever they were purchased or to public collection points in your city or community. Symbols on batteries containing harmful substances include:

  • Pb = Battery contains lead
  • Cd = Battery contains cadmium
  • Hg = Battery contains mercury
  • Li = Battery contains lithium

Caution

Use only battery types recommended by the manufacturer. Handle used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions. Never throw batteries into fire, heat them, recharge them, disassemble, or break them open.

General Warning

Never look into the sun or laser light sources with the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT, as this can cause serious eye injury.

Power Supply

The ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT is powered by two 3V Lithium CR1632 batteries.

Inserting the Batteries

Unscrew the battery compartment cover (Fig. 4/I) using the special wrench (Fig. 3) by turning counter-clockwise. Batteries are installed stacked, touching with their positive sides (battery bottom/Fig. 4). Insert the first battery (Fig. 4/K) with the positive side towards the cover. Insert the second battery (Fig. 4/J) with the negative side towards the cover. Screw the battery compartment cover back on using the special wrench.

Automatic Switch-off Function

To prevent unintentional battery discharge, the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT automatically switches off after 4 hours of operation. If the device is not used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent damage from leakage. With the battery cover open, the interior of the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT is exposed to environmental influences.

Operation

To turn on the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT, briefly press the function button (Fig. 2/F) once. The brightness of the target dot can be adjusted in 5 levels by repeatedly pressing the function button. Each press cycles through intensity levels. To turn off, press and hold the function button for two seconds. The last selected intensity is stored in memory and recalled upon the next activation.

Mounting

Standard Mount (for Picatinny and Weaver Rails)

The ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT "Standard" mounts onto a rail compatible with Picatinny-Rail (MIL-STD 1913) or Weaver-Rail designs. It features a clamping mechanism with a fixing plate and an M3 hexagon socket screw.

Installation: Position the sight against the rail so the front housing pins (Fig. 2/G) fit into a transverse groove on the rail. Place the sight in the direction of the arrow and tighten the M3 hexagon socket screw (Fig. 1/E) with the special wrench (Fig. 3).

Removal: Loosen the hexagon socket screw and remove the sight in the opposite direction of the arrow (Fig. 6).

ZEISS Plate Mount

The ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT "ZEISS plate" offers a flat base plate with holes for mounting, primarily on swivel and rail mounts. Leading mounting accessory manufacturers offer a variety of specific mounting parts for weapons from different manufacturers. Consult your specialty dealer for the correct parts for your weapon system.

Blaser R93 Mount

The ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT "Blaser R93" can be mounted directly on the Blaser R93 without additional tools.

Installation: Press the push button (Fig. 5/L) and insert the opposite housing pin (Fig. 5/M) into the weapon's mounting hole. Position the sight in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 7), release the button, and allow it to lock into place.

Adjustment: Adjust the mounting by turning the M2 hexagon socket screw (Fig. 5/N). Locking is done with the M1 hexagon socket screw (Fig. 5/O).

Removal: Press the push button and remove the sight in the opposite direction of the arrow (Fig. 7).

Target Dot Adjustment

Before any adjustment, loosen the locking screw for target dot locking (Fig. 1/D). Adjustment is stepless via the height (Fig. 1/A) and lateral (Fig. 2/H) adjustment screws. Use the supplied special wrench. The wrench has an indexing disk; use Mark B (Fig. 1) for height and Mark C (Fig. 1) for lateral reference. (1 division = 2.5 cm/100 m).

If you observe a deviation between the aiming point and point of impact after shooting, correct as follows:

  • Impact below target dot (weapon shoots low): Turn the adjusting screw in the 'up' direction.
  • Impact above target dot (weapon shoots high): Turn the adjusting screw away from the 'up' direction.
  • Impact left of target dot (weapon shoots left): Turn the adjusting screw in the 'R' direction.
  • Impact right of target dot (weapon shoots right): Turn the adjusting screw away from the 'R' direction.

After each adjustment or before each shot, retighten the locking screw (Fig. 1/D).

Note: If adjustment or locking screws are completely unscrewed, the interior of the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT is exposed to environmental influences.

Attaching the Protective Case

Position the front of the protective case into the grooves (Fig. 5/P), then push the rear end onto the ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT. For a secure lock, fix the case with the provided screw directly to the sight (Fig. 6/Q) using the multi-function key.

Care and Maintenance

The ZEISS VICTORY COMPACT POINT requires no special maintenance. Do not wipe coarse dirt particles (e.g., sand) from the lenses; blow them away or remove with a fine brush. Fingerprints can damage lens surfaces over time. The simplest way to clean lenses is to breathe on them and wipe with a clean optical cleaning cloth. Protect the device from grease and oil. Dirt and fingerprints can be easily removed with pure alcohol (not acetone) and a clean cloth. Keep the battery compartment and cover clean and dry.
