Description of control buttons:

  • 1 - Power On / Off: Press to turn the device on or off.
  • 2 - Menu: Press to return to the previous screen; Press & hold to return to the Main Menu.
  • 3 - Play / Pause: Press to select an option on the Main Menu; Press to pause slideshow, music, or video.
  • 4 - Up Arrow: Press to navigate UP when selecting options; Press to select the Previous file (Photo & Music mode); Press & hold to Fast Forward.
  • 5 - Down Arrow: Press to navigate DOWN when selecting options; Press to select the Next file (Photo & Music mode); Press & hold to Scan Backward.
  • 6 - Left Arrow: Press to navigate LEFT when selecting options; Press & hold to lower volume.
  • 7 - Right Arrow: Press to navigate RIGHT when selecting options; Press & hold to increase volume.

Getting Started

  1. Screw the frame stand into the designated slot.
  2. Plug the power adapter into an AC outlet and connect it to the frame. The photo frame will power on.

Connect to your WiFi

  1. On the photo frame's touch screen display, select your WiFi connection.
  2. If required, enter the WiFi password.
  3. "Connected" will appear below your selected WiFi network.
  4. Press the arrow icon in the upper right corner to proceed to the next step.

Operating Instructions

Configure Aluratek Smart Frame APP to Frame

Step 1: Download the 'Aluratek Smart Frame' APP to your Smartphone / Tablet

1. Go to your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and search for "Aluratek Smart Frame". Install and open the app.

NOTE: Ensure you download "Aluratek Smart Frame" and not "Aluratek WIFI Frame".

2. Tap "Complete" on the device info screen.

Step 2: Creating Your Account in the APP

1. Open the "Aluratek Smart Frame" APP. Allow notifications if prompted.

2. Select "Sign Up".

3. Create a "Username" and "Password". Write these down for future reference.

4. Enter your email address and press the "right arrow icon" next to the email field.

5. Check your email for a verification code. Enter this code in the "Verify Code" field and click "Submit".

Step 3: Bind Your Frame

1. Ensure you are signed in to the APP.

2. Select "Devices" within the APP.

3. Click the "+" icon next to "My Devices".

4. Enter a descriptive name for your frame (e.g., "Kitchen123").

5. Create a unique email address for your frame to send pictures/videos. Use at least 6 characters, including letters, numbers, and symbols (e.g., Alexkitchen@wififrame.com).

6. Enter your frame ID. This can be found on the frame by navigating to "Settings" > "Device Info". Look for "Frame ID: xxxxxx".

7. Enter your unique "Frame ID" into the corresponding field in the app. Your frame will display a notification requesting to bind. Touch "Accept" to bind.

8. On your digital frame, go to "Settings" > "User Management" to see "Pending User Request" and touch "Accept".

9. Your phone and frame are now connected.

Step 4: Send Pictures from your Smartphone / Tablet to the frame using the Aluratek Smart Frame APP

1. In the APP, select the photo or video icon to take a live photo/video. If prompted, allow camera access.

2. To send a previously saved photo or video, select the "Files" icon. Choose the files you wish to send and click "Done".

3. Under "Push Device", select the frame you want to send the files to.

4. Select the right arrow (send mail) icon to send.

NOTE: You can send up to 9 photos at a time for faster delivery.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Photos!

1. On the photo frame's main screen, select the photos in the upper left box.

2. Use the menu on the left to select the source for your photos (typically "ALL").

3. Tap a photo in the right column to begin viewing your photos.

Enable the Email to Frame Feature

1. Verify/enable your created email address for the frame by sending a one-time email from your personal email account to authorize it.

2. IMPORTANT: Email the frame with the subject line formatted as 'bd+frame id'.

Example:

To: alexkitchen@wififrame.com (Ensure this matches the email created in the app)

Subject: bd123456 (Replace 123456 with your actual frame ID)

(Note: The body of the email can be left empty.)

3. You will receive a confirmation email with the subject line "Your Binding Request was Complete", confirming you can now email photos to your photo frame.

Link to Facebook

Connect your Facebook account to send pictures to the frame via Facebook.

1. Open the Facebook app or go to Facebook via your browser and log in to your account if you are not already logged in.

2. Search for "Aluratek WiFi Frame".

3. Send a message with your frame ID to bind the frame. For example, if your frame ID is 123456, send "bd123456".

4. Upon successful binding, you will see a message: "Successful Binding!".

5. You can now send pictures by attaching them to a message sent to the frame.

Link to Twitter

Connect your Twitter account to send pictures directly to the frame from your Twitter account.

1. Open the Twitter app or go to Twitter via your browser.

2. Search for "Aluratek WiFi Frame".

3. Click "Follow".

4. Log in to your Twitter account. If you are already logged in, you will proceed directly to the next step.

5. Click "Message" to send a private message to link the frame.

6. Type 'bd+frame ID' to bind. For example, if your frame ID is 123456, type "bd123456" in the message. A reply will confirm successful binding.

7. Congratulations! Your Twitter account is now linked. To post a picture, send a private message to the frame with the picture attached.

Transfer Pictures Directly From Your Computer To The Frame

To transfer pictures directly to the WiFi frame from your computer, ensure both devices are on the same network. Follow these steps:

1. On the frame, go to "Settings" > "PC Control". Click "Start" to display the frame's FTP address.

2. On your computer, open "File Explorer". In the address bar, type the FTP address shown on the frame (e.g., ftp://192.168.0.100:2121).

3. The frame's internal memory will appear as a folder. Drag and drop your desired pictures into this folder.

4. After transfer, navigate to "Album" > "Internal memory" on the frame to view the pictures.

Note: If the computer and frame are not on the same network, use Facebook, Twitter, or the Aluratek Smart Frame app for transfers.

Main Menu Function

The Main Menu provides access to various functions of the digital photo frame. It typically displays:

  • Photo previews
  • Music player access
  • Weather information (current and forecast)
  • Alarm settings
  • Clock display
  • System settings
  • Video player access

Album Function

Album Settings

1. From the main menu, tap "Settings".

2. Tap "Album Settings".

Available settings include:

  • Full Screen: Set photo display to original size or full screen.
  • Slideshow: Enable automatic slideshow playback based on selected timing. By default, it displays pictures from the cloud media folder. If viewing internal memory or USB/SD card, it displays pictures from those locations.
  • Background Music: Turn background music on or off.
  • Slideshow Mode: Enable random picture order in slideshows.
  • Slideshow Transition Effect: Select transition effects between photos.
  • Slideshow Interval: Set the duration each photo is displayed.
  • Delete Photos: Remove photos from cloud media and internal memory.
  • Reset Default Settings: Reset all settings and disconnect linked accounts without deleting photos from cloud media or internal memory.

System Function

System Settings

1. From the main menu, tap "Settings".

2. Tap "System Settings".

Available settings include:

  • Sound: Adjust media volume, notification volume, and enable touch sounds.
  • Display: Adjust screen brightness.
  • Date and Time: Set the current date and time for the frame.
  • Auto ON / OFF: Enable or disable automatic power on/off features.
  • Auto OFF: Set a specific time for the frame to automatically power off.
  • Auto ON: Set a specific time for the frame to automatically power on.
  • Factory data reset: Reset all data on the device's internal memory and any inserted SD card.

Alarm Function

How To Set Alarm

1. From the main menu, tap "Alarm".

2. To edit an existing alarm, tap "Edit alarm". To create a new alarm, tap "Add alarm".

3. Set the desired days, time, and ringtone for the alarm, then tap "OK" to confirm.

Aluratek warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship for 1 Year from the date of purchase.

This warranty is void if the factory-supplied serial number or "warranty void" sticker has been removed or altered.

This warranty does not cover:

  • A) Cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God.
  • B) Accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, or modification of any part of the product.
  • C) Damage due to improper operation or maintenance, connection to improper equipment, or attempted repair by anyone other than Aluratek.
  • D) Products sold AS IS or WITH FAULTS.
