Introduction and Preparation
Before beginning assembly, it is crucial to read and understand this manual. Check local building codes for requirements regarding foundations, location, and other specifications. This guide provides important information and helpful tips for a smoother and more enjoyable assembly process.
Assembly Instructions: Review all instructions and information thoroughly before starting. Ensure you follow the step sequence carefully for successful results.
Site Preparation (Flooring Base)
Prepare the site to ensure the shed base is level all around, using a spirit level for verification. The base can be constructed from treated timber or concrete to prevent moisture ingress. The shed is not designed for direct installation on lawn, as the ground can become muddy during rainy days. If using a concrete pad, ensure it slopes towards the edges to prevent water accumulation. Allow adequate drying time for any concrete or cement before building on top. Bases can also be made from bricks or blocks cemented onto firm, level concrete footings.
Parts and Parts List
Before starting, separate and identify all parts and hardware to confirm you have everything necessary. Do not attempt assembly if parts are missing, as a partially assembled building can be seriously damaged by light winds.
Safety First
Safety is paramount during assembly:
- Select a dry and calm day for assembly. Teamwork (two or more people) is required.
- Wear safety gloves, eye protection, and long sleeves to prevent injuries. Be cautious of sharp edges on some parts.
- Keep children and pets away from the construction site.
- Never concentrate your total weight on the roof. Use a step ladder safely.
Care and Maintenance
To ensure longevity and proper function:
- Keep the shed clean with a soft cloth, using water if necessary.
- Keep door tracks clear of dirt and debris to ensure smooth sliding.
- Clear snow from the shed to ensure safe entry. Heavy snow can cause collapse; ensure safety before entering.
- The shed is designed for storage, not living.

Assembly Steps
Follow these steps to assemble your Outsunny garden shed.
1. Base Frame Assembly
Assemble the base frame using components 1, 2, 5, W1, W2, and W3. Connect these parts using screws (F1) and washers (S2) as indicated in the diagrams. Ensure the frame is level.
2. Wall Panel Assembly
Front and Back Walls: Attach vertical wall panels (e.g., 4L, 4R, 25L, 25R for door frame) to the base frame and connect them using screws (F1, S2) and connectors (P1A, P4A). The front wall will incorporate the door frame components.
Side Walls: Attach the remaining vertical wall panels (e.g., 3L, 3R, P2, P3, P4) to the base and connect them to the front/back panels using screws (F1, F2, S2) and connectors (P1A, P2, P3, P4). Ensure panels are securely fastened and aligned.
Corner Braces: Use corner braces (G2) and screws (F1, S2) to reinforce the wall structure at the corners.
3. Roof Assembly
Roof Purlins: Attach the roof purlins (P5, P6, P7) to the top of the wall panels using screws (F1, S2). These provide support for the roof panels.
Roof Panels: Install the roof panels (15, 17) onto the purlins, securing them with screws (F1, S2) and roof connectors (GC). Ensure the panels overlap correctly to prevent leaks.
Roof Edge Profiles: Attach the roof edge profiles (21L, 21R) to the front and back edges of the roof for a finished look and added protection.
4. Door Assembly and Installation
Door Construction: Assemble the door panels (27) using the door frame profiles (25L, 25R) and appropriate hardware (F1, S2). Attach the hinge components (D1, D2, GB) to the door panels and frame.
Door Installation: Mount the assembled doors onto the front frame using the hinges. Ensure they swing freely. Install the door handle brackets (GJ) and the lock mechanism (K, LOCK) onto the doors.
Door Bottom Supports: Attach door bottom supports (GD) to the bottom of the doors.
5. Final Touches
Base Reinforcement: Ensure all base frame components (5, W1, W2, W3) are securely fastened.
Final Fastening: Double-check all screws and connections to ensure the shed is sturdy and secure. Use any remaining hardware (e.g., M5 bolts/nuts) as indicated for final structural integrity.
