Recommendations and Suggestions
This manual applies to multiple versions of the appliance. Descriptions of features not applicable to your specific appliance may be included.
Installation
- The manufacturer is not liable for damages due to incorrect or improper installation.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 650 mm between the hob and the lowest part of the range hood. Refer to specific model dimensions if a lower installation is permitted.
- Verify that the mains voltage matches the rating plate.
- For Class I appliances, ensure adequate earthing of the domestic power supply.
- Connect the hood to an exhaust flue with a minimum diameter of 120mm. Keep the flue route as short as possible.
- Do not connect the hood to flues used for exhausting fumes from combustion appliances (e.g., boilers, fireplaces).
- When used with non-electrical appliances (e.g., gas appliances), ensure sufficient fresh air supply in the kitchen to prevent backflow of exhaust gases. The kitchen must have an opening for direct fresh air exchange.
- If the cooker hood is used with appliances powered by means other than electric, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar to prevent exhaust fumes from being drawn back into the room.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.
- Comply with regulations concerning air discharge.
Use
- The cooker hood is designed for domestic use only; it is not suitable for commercial purposes like barbecues or roast shops.
- Never use the hood for purposes other than its intended design.
- Avoid high naked flames under the hood during operation.
- Adjust flame intensity to the pan bottom, ensuring flames do not engulf the sides.
- Deep fat fryers require continuous monitoring during use, as overheated oil can ignite.
- Do not flambé under the range hood due to fire risk.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed on safe appliance use and understand the associated hazards.
- Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by unsupervised children.
- CAUTION: Accessible parts can become hot when used with cooking appliances.
Maintenance
Grease Filters
- Clean grease filters every 2 months of operation, or more frequently for heavy usage. Cleaning can be done by hand or in a dishwasher.
- Remove filters by pushing them towards the back of the hood unit and pulling downwards.
- Avoid bending filters during washing. Ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation. Filter surface color may change over time, but this does not affect filter efficiency.
- Mount filters in the correct position with the handle facing outwards.
Activated Charcoal Filter (Recirculation Version)
- These filters are not washable and cannot be regenerated. They must be replaced approximately every 4 months of operation, or more frequently with heavy usage.
- To replace the activated charcoal filter: Remove metal grease filters, remove the saturated activated charcoal filter, fit new filters, and then replace the metal grease filters.
Lighting
- Light bulbs cannot be replaced; the entire light module must be replaced.
- When changing light modules, contacts are live. Unplug the appliance from the mains or switch off the circuit breaker before changing modules.
- To dismantle the LED light module: Remove the grease filter, unscrew the 2 screws from the front plate (cross-headed screwdriver required), disconnect the LED light terminal, press the LED light on the back of the front plate to remove it. Replace the lamp with a commercially available LED lamp (max. 1.5W).
- To reinstall the LED light module: Press the LED light onto the front plate, connect the LED light terminal and leads, fasten the 2 screws on the front plate, and reinstall the grease filter.

Installation: Wall Drilling and Bracket Fixing
Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Mark a vertical line up to the ceiling or upper limit in the center of the intended hood area.
- Mark a horizontal line A at 970-1070 mm above the cooker top.
- Mark a horizontal line B at X mm above line A.
- Mark a horizontal line C at 243 mm below line A.
- Mark Points:
- Point (1) on line A: 80 mm from the vertical reference line. Repeat on the other side and check leveling.
- Point (2) on line B: 60 mm from the vertical reference line. Repeat on the other side and check leveling.
- Point (3) on line C: 100 mm from the vertical reference line. Repeat on the other side and check leveling.
- Fix the brackets:
- Drill holes at marked points with a ∅10 mm drill bit.
- Insert Wall Plugs 11 into the holes.
- Fix the hood fixing bracket 20 with 3 screws 10 (5 x 50) to line A.
- Fix a chimney fixing bracket 21 with 2 screws 10 (5 x 50) to line B.
Connections
Ducted Version Air Exhaust System
- Connect the hood to the chimney using a flexible or rigid pipe (∅ 150 or ∅ 120 mm).
- For a ∅ 120 mm connection, insert the reducer flange 3 onto the hood body outlet.
- Secure the pipe 4 with sufficient pipe clamps (not supplied).
- Remove any charcoal filters if not needed for ducted installation.
Lower Decorative Chimney
- Attach the exhaust pipe to the hood body.
- Connect the chimney and hood body with 2 screws 12.
- Connect the chimney fixing bracket and chimney with 2 screws 12.
Hook the hood body
- Hook the hood body to bracket 20.
- Level the hood body.
- Remove the filter from the inside of the hood body. Fix screws 10 into Wall Plugs 11 at points (3).
Upper Decorative Chimney
- Insert the upper decorative chimney 2.2 into the lower decorative chimney 2.1 and slide it up to horizontal line B.
- Connect the upper decorative chimney 2.2 and chimney fixing bracket 21 with 2 screws 12.

Disposal of Old Electrical Appliances
The European directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE) mandates separate collection of old household electrical appliances to optimize recovery and recycling of materials, thereby reducing environmental and health impacts. The symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the obligation for separate disposal. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for correct disposal information.
