Introduction to buttons in setting interface (one-to-one correspondence)
5 Operation Interface
Temperature shortcut channel operation
Single pressing the middle button quickly cycles through M1, M2, and M3 temperature shortcut channels. Users can customize these temperatures. The left button increases temperature, and the right button decreases it. Simultaneously pressing the left and right buttons saves the current temperature to a selected shortcut channel (M1/M2/M3).
Operation of setting interface
Long press the middle button to enter the setting interface. From here, users can adjust settings such as Language, Sound, Temperature Unit (Celsius/Fahrenheit), Reset, Working Time, and System Information (version, model, date). Single press the right button to return to the previous step or main interface.

9 Precautions
⚠️ Precautions for soldering station
To prevent damage to the soldering station and ensure safety in the working environment:
- Do not modify the soldering station without authorization.
- Use only original factory parts when replacing components.
- Do not wet the station. Avoid using the station or pulling the power cord with wet hands.
- Ensure good ventilation during soldering, as smoke is produced.
- Do not perform actions that could harm the product while in use.
- Store the station in a dry environment when not in use for extended periods.
⚠️ Precaution for soldering tips
The soldering iron tip is at a high temperature when the station is on. To prevent burns or fire hazards:
- Use the station according to the operating instructions and avoid misuse.
- Keep the station in standby mode when replacing the soldering tip. Do not touch the tip directly with your hands to avoid burns.
- Do not use the iron tip near flammable objects.
- Inform others that the iron tip is very hot and can cause accidents. Turn off the power when not in use.
- Do not knock the soldering iron on the workbench to remove residual flux, as this can damage the tip.
- Use the soldering iron tip only for soldering.
- Keep out of reach of children to prevent burns.
10 Use And Maintenance Of Soldering Tip
⚠️ Note: Do not use a file to remove oxide from the iron tip.
- After the temperature stabilizes, clean the iron tip with a cleaning sponge and check its condition.
- If black oxide is present, plate with a new tin layer, then wipe with a cleaning sponge. Repeat until oxide is removed, then plate with a new tin layer.
- If the soldering iron tip is deformed or rusted, replace it with a new one.
Use of soldering iron tip
Soldering iron tip temperature | Choose the lowest possible temperature that fulfills the work. High temperatures weaken the tip's function. This tip offers excellent temperature resilience and supports lower temperature soldering, protecting temperature-sensitive components. |
Cleaning | Clean the soldering iron tip regularly with a cleaning sponge. Soldering residues (oxides and carbides from flux) can damage the tip, cause errors, or reduce thermal conductivity. If using continuously for a long time, disassemble and clean the tip weekly to remove oxides and prevent damage. |
When not in use | Do not keep the tip at high temperature for extended periods when not in use. The flux can convert to oxide, reducing heat conduction ability. |
After use | After use, wipe the tip clean and plate it with a new tin layer to prevent oxidation. |
"Tin planting failure" may be caused by:
- The soldering iron is idle and not covered with a new tin layer.
- The soldering iron tip is at high temperature.
- Insufficient melting during soldering.
- Cleaning the tip on a dry or unclean sponge or cloth. Use a clean, moist, industrial-grade sulfur-free sponge.
- The solder or iron coating is impure, or the soldering surface is not clean.
11 How to prolong the service life of soldering iron tip?
- Soak with fresh solder after each use to prevent oxidation and prolong service life.
- Apply the temperature as low as possible to fulfill the work; lower temperatures reduce tip oxidation and make soldering easier.
- Use a thin iron tip only when necessary, as its coating is less durable than a thick tip's.
- Do not use the soldering tip as a detection tool; bending it can damage the coating and shorten its life.
- Use less active rosin flux, as high active rosin content accelerates corrosion of the iron tip coating.
- When not in use or stopping soldering, place the handle in the holder or turn off the power promptly.
- Do not apply heavy pressure on the soldering tip; higher pressure does not ensure faster heat transfer.
- For effective heat transfer, the solder must melt to form a heat transfer solder bridge between the soldering tip and the solder joint.
⚠️ Note: Proper daily maintenance will effectively improve the service life of the soldering iron tip.
