Important Safety Instructions

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should be observed, including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and up, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been informed about safe use and understand the risks. Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Cleaning and routine maintenance should not be performed by children without adult supervision.
  • Clear the area to be cleaned. Remove power cords and small objects on the floor that could obstruct the appliance. Tuck carpet fringes under rugs and lift curtains and tablecloths so they do not trail on the floor.
  • If the floor has a slope in the area to be cleaned (e.g., a step or stairs), ensure the appliance can detect the drop without falling. A physical barrier may be necessary at the edge of the drop to prevent the appliance from falling or tumbling down slopes. Ensure the physical barrier does not pose a fall risk.
  • Use the appliance only as indicated in this manual. Use only accessories recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
  • Ensure the power supply voltage matches that indicated on the charging dock.
  • FOR INDOOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. Do not use the appliance outdoors or in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Use only the rechargeable battery and charging dock originally supplied with the appliance by the manufacturer. Non-rechargeable batteries are prohibited.
  • Do not operate the appliance without the dust bin and/or filter.
  • Do not operate the appliance in the presence of lit candles or fragile objects.
  • Do not use the appliance in very hot or very cold environments (temperatures below -5°C/23°F or above 40°C/104°F).
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not operate the appliance in a room where an infant or child is sleeping.
  • Do not use the appliance on wet surfaces or surfaces covered with water.
  • Do not let the appliance pick up large objects like stones, large pieces of paper, or any item that could obstruct it.
  • Do not use the appliance to pick up flammable or combustible materials (e.g., gasoline, printer or copier toner) or in areas where these products may be present.
  • Do not use the appliance to pick up burning or smoking items (e.g., cigarettes, matches, hot ashes) or anything that could cause a fire.
  • Do not place objects in the suction head. Do not use the appliance if the suction head is blocked. Remove dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce airflow from the suction head.
  • Ensure the power cord is not damaged. Do not move the appliance or charging dock by pulling the power cord, do not use the power cord as a handle, do not pinch it in a door, and do not pull the cord over sharp edges or corners. Do not run the appliance over the power cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorized representative to avoid any accident.
  • Do not use the charging dock if it is damaged. If the power supply is damaged or defective, stop using it and do not attempt to repair it.
  • Do not use the appliance if the power cord or dust bin is damaged. Do not use the appliance or charging dock if they are not functioning correctly, have been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or come into contact with water. They must be repaired by the manufacturer or its representative to avoid any accident.
  • Disconnect the power before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
  • The plug must be removed from the dust bin before cleaning or maintaining the charging dock.
  • For disposal of the appliance, remove it from the charging dock, disconnect the power, and remove the battery.
  • The battery must be deposited and disposed of in accordance with local laws and regulations before disposing of the appliance.
  • Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Do not incinerate the appliance, even if severely damaged. Batteries can explode when exposed to fire.
  • Unplug the charging dock if it is not used for a long period.
  • The appliance must be used in accordance with the instructions in this manual. Our company cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by incorrect use.
  • The robot contains batteries that only qualified personnel can replace. To replace the robot's battery, contact customer service.
  • Turn off and store the robot if it will not be used for a long period. Unplug the charging dock.

WARNING: Only the detachable power supply unit provided with the appliance should be used to recharge the battery.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

To comply with FCC RF exposure and IC requirements, a distance of at least 20 cm must be maintained between this appliance and individuals when the appliance is in operation. To ensure compliance with these requirements, it is not recommended to use the appliance at a distance less than indicated. The antenna used for this transmitter must not be co-located with any other antenna or transmitter.

1. Product Presentation

1.1 Packing List

Different models in this series only differ in appearance, parameters, configuration, etc., and the usage methods are the same. This manual uses one of the models as an example to explain how to use it.

1.2 Part Name

2. Preparation

2.1 Assembly and Charging

  1. Remove the protective film from the robot and the charging dock.
  2. Install the side brushes: Attach the side brushes to the designated posts on the underside of the robot. They should click into place. ✔️ Click
  3. Charging Dock Placement: Place the charging dock against the wall on a flat surface. Ensure there are no objects within 0.5 meters (1.64 feet) to the left or right and 1.5 meters (4.92 feet) in front to avoid blocking the charging signal. Avoid placing reflective objects, such as floor mirrors, near the charging dock to prevent signal reflection.
  4. Charge the Robot: Place the robot onto the charging dock, ensuring the button side faces the dock. When the button light starts blinking, it indicates the robot is correctly positioned.
    • A blinking purple light indicates the battery is below 50%.
    • A blinking blue light indicates the battery is above 50%.
    • No light means the battery is fully charged.
    Charging time is approximately 4 hours. The robot will turn on automatically if it is charged while powered off.

2.2 Environment Preparation

Tidy the Room:

  • Clear the floor of all wires and scattered debris before starting. If your carpet has tassels, tuck them under the carpet.
  • Remove all fragile, valuable, or potentially dangerous objects to prevent the robot from grabbing, getting stuck on, dragging, or knocking them over.
  • Do not let the robot operate on wet floors.
  • Do not use the robot in areas without protective barriers (like multi-level floors, open balconies, furniture tops). Ensure balcony doors are closed or use a sturdy physical barrier to prevent accidental falls that could cause injury or property damage.
  • The robot can climb objects less than 12mm high. If you do not want the robot to climb these objects, remove them.

3. Product Usage

3.1 How to Use Buttons

  • Hold for 3 seconds: Power On
  • Quick Press: Start/Pause (scheduled cleaning)
  • Double Quick Press: Auto-Recharge
  • Hold for 6 seconds: Enter Network Pairing Mode (Network operation: Press and hold for 6 seconds and release when you hear two beeps; the light will blink, and the robot will enter network mode. Open the app for networking and pairing.)
  • Hold for 12 seconds: Power Off (a long "beep" indicates power off)

3.2 App Download and Setup

Download and Install the 'Lefant' App:

Method 1: Scan the QR code provided in the original document to download and install the app as prompted.

Method 2: Search for 'Lefant' in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), then download and install the Lefant app.

Wi-Fi Connection: Please connect to a 2.4GHz home Wi-Fi network.

Tips:

  • Follow the instructions in the 'Lefant' app to register, log in, and pair the robot.
  • Ensure your mobile phone is connected to your Wi-Fi network before pairing the robot vacuum.

3.3 Maintenance

Dust Bin Maintenance

  • When cleaning and maintaining the robot and its accessories, please unplug the charging dock.
  • ⚠️ Warning: The filter (HEPA) must not touch water.
  • Open the panel and remove the dust bin.
  • Open the dust bin latch and discard the debris.
  • Remove the filter assembly.
  • Turn the cartridge to the left to remove it.
  • Clean the pre-filter and HEPA filter.

Other Parts Maintenance

  • When cleaning and maintaining the robot and its accessories, please unplug the charging dock.
  • 1. Clean the anti-drop sensor to ensure sensor sensitivity.
  • 2. Clean the swivel wheel to prevent hair entanglement.
  • 3. Clean the charging electrode to ensure successful charging.
  • 4. Clean the suction port to prevent dust blockage.
  • 5. Clean the drive wheel and keep it clean.
  • 6. Clean the anti-collision sensors to ensure sensitive obstacle avoidance.
  • 7. Clean the side brush to prevent hair entanglement.
  • 8. Clean the charging pins on the charging base to ensure smooth charging. Clean the infrared sensor lens on the charging base to avoid signal interference.

4. Abnormal Symptoms

4.1 Symptom Messages

When the robot encounters problems, its red indicator light will turn on or blink and emit beeps with different durations and separations. The following table summarizes the corresponding causes:

If the above methods do not resolve the problem, try this: Press and hold the robot's Start/Pause button for 12 seconds. After hearing a long "beep", turn off the robot, then press and hold the button for 3 seconds to restart it.

4.2 Troubleshooting

If the following problems occur during product use, users can resolve them independently through comparison and investigation.
