Connections
The Plugable UD-3900 docking station allows you to connect multiple peripherals and monitors to your computer via a single USB 3.0 cable.
Front Connections
The front panel of the docking station features:
- Headphone jack ?

Driver Installation
NOTE: Monitors may blink during driver installation, and your system may need to be rebooted.
For Windows® 10 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 7:
- Step 1: Do not connect the network cable to the docking station until drivers are installed.
- Step 2: Ensure your PC or tablet has an open internet connection.
- Step 3: Connect the docking station to your PC or tablet using the provided USB cable.
- Step 4: Windows Update will automatically install the most recent drivers.
For Windows Vista® / Windows XP:
- Step 1: If you did not receive drivers from Plugable via email shortly after purchase, download the most recent drivers from: plugable.com/products/ud-3900
- Step 2: Install the drivers and then connect the UD-3900.
Changing Display Mode
Configure how your external monitors are displayed relative to your primary screen.
For Windows 10 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 7:
- Step 1: Use the shortcut key combination: Windows Key + P.
- Step 2: Select your preferred display mode from the options presented (e.g., Computer only, Duplicate, Extend, Projector only).

For Windows Vista / Windows XP:
- Step 1: Click the DisplayLink Manager icon in the system tray.
