Product Overview
The DM-40D-BT and DM-40D-BT-W are active monitor speakers designed for music production, DJing, and general audio playback. They feature Bluetooth® connectivity for wireless audio streaming.

Example of Connections
The speakers can be connected to various audio sources. A typical setup involves connecting the speakers to a DJ mixer, audio interface, or computer. The diagram illustrates the following connections:
- Two active monitor speakers, labeled "LEFT" and "RIGHT".
- Audio source device (e.g., mixer, controller) with RCA output jacks.
- RCA cables connecting the audio source's RCA outputs to the input jacks on the rear of each speaker (LEFT and RIGHT).
- A headphone jack on the audio source device, indicating a common setup where headphones are used for monitoring.
- A power cable connecting to the power input on one of the speakers.
Note: Ensure correct speaker placement for optimal stereo imaging.
Bluetooth® Pairing
To wirelessly connect a device via Bluetooth:
- Press the POWER button to turn the speakers ON. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button (indicated by a Bluetooth symbol ?) for approximately 2 seconds. The Bluetooth indicator light will begin to flash, indicating the speakers are in pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, computer), navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu.
- Scan for available devices and select "DM-40D-BT" (or similar model name) from the list.
- Once the connection is established, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will turn solid, confirming a successful pairing.
Note: The speakers support Qualcomm® aptX™ Low Latency for reduced audio delay when paired with compatible devices.

Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- Object/Liquid Entry: Never push objects of any kind into this apparatus through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock.
- Enclosure: Do not open the enclosure. Servicing should only be performed by qualified personnel to avoid risk of electric shock.
- Power Source: Ensure the voltage of the power source matches the voltage indicated on the unit or supplied power adapter.
