Overview
Front View:
- 1. Sound Outlet: The opening where sound is emitted.
Back View:
- 2. Intuitive Button: The primary control button on the earbud.
- 3. Microphone: For calls and voice commands.
- 4. C-Bridge: A structural element connecting parts of the earbud.
Charging Case:
- 5. LED Indicator: Shows charging status and power levels.
- 6. USB-C Charging Port: For connecting the charging cable.
- 7. Charging Case Button: Used for manual pairing and reset functions.
Wearing
To wear the earbuds:
- Hold your ears with one hand. Gently clamp the earbuds onto the upper part of your auricles, ensuring the front side faces your ear canal and the back side with the intuitive button rests behind your ear.
- Adjust the earbuds upwards or downwards until they fit securely and you can hear the sound clearly.
If the fit feels loose, you can choose between the included M or L size ear grips for enhanced stability.
Powering On & Pairing
Initial Setup:
- Before first use, remove the insulation films from the earbuds.
- Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid.
- Reopen the case to power on the earbuds. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
Bluetooth Pairing:
- On your device, select "soundcore C40i" from the Bluetooth list.
- During pairing, the earbud's LED indicator will flash white. Once successfully paired, the LED will stay lit for 2 seconds before turning off.
Manual Pairing
To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode:
- Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open.
- Double-press the charging case button (7) until the LED indicator starts flashing white.
- Proceed to pair with your device via Bluetooth settings.
Charging
Charging the Earbuds:
- Place the earbuds in the charging case and close it. Ensure earbuds and the USB-C charging port are fully dry before charging.
- Connect the charging case to a power supply using the provided USB-C charging cable.
Charging Information:
- 10 minutes of charging provides approximately 2 hours of playtime.
- Full charge for earbuds takes about 1 hour.
- Full charge for earbuds and charging case takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Low Battery Indication: When the earbud battery falls below 20%, the LED indicator will flash red slowly three times after being placed back in the case.
Dual Connections
Connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously using one of these methods:
Method 1: Manual Pairing with the Second Device
While wearing the earbuds, press and hold the intuitive button (2) on both earbuds for 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt indicating pairing mode. Then, pair with the second device.
Note: The earbuds can connect to a maximum of two devices at once. Connecting a third device will automatically disconnect the first.
Method 2: Using the soundcore App
In the soundcore app, tap "Dual Connections" on the main interface, then select "Connect New Device".
The Dual Connections feature is enabled by default.
Controls
Customize controls via the soundcore app. Default controls are:

Powering Off
To power off the earbuds, return them to the charging case and close the lid.
Reset
To reset the earbuds:
- Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open.
- Press and hold the charging case button (7) for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red slowly three times.
Firmware Update
The soundcore app will notify you when a new firmware version is available. Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case with the lid open and charging during the update process. Avoid using the earbuds during the update.
