General Safety Information About Your MinusA2 Air Purifier
⚠️ Caution: When using electrical appliances, observe the following basic precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury:
- Please read all tips and warnings before using your Rabbit Air® purifier.
- Use only as directed by the Owner's Manual.
- Please observe extreme caution when using the air purifier in close proximity to children.
- Rabbit Air purifiers are for indoor use only.
- The Rabbit Air purifier is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, or other damp indoor environments. Keep the Rabbit Air purifier away from water at all times.
- Do not use the Rabbit Air purifier near fireplaces or in areas where flammable or combustible products or vapors may be present.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- This product complies with the maximum allowable concentration of ozone of 0.050 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in a 24-hour period. The Health Canada Guideline 2010 recommends that the Maximum exposure limit, based on an averaging time of 8 hours, is 0.020 ppmv or less when tested in a Sealed, controlled room approximately 30 m³.

Electrical Safety Instructions
- The Rabbit Air purifier is designed for use in a 120V outlet only.
- Turn off your Rabbit Air purifier before unplugging it from the power outlet.
- Unplug the Rabbit Air purifier from the power outlet when not in use and before servicing or cleaning the unit.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, the Rabbit Air purifier has a polarized plug, which means it will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way.
- To avoid electric shock, do not touch the air purifier or its power plug with wet hands.
- Keep the electrical cord away from heated surfaces at all times.
- If the cord or plug appears damaged, return the unit immediately to an authorized service facility for examination and repair.
- Any attempts to repair the Rabbit Air purifier without written permission from Rabbit Air will void the warranty and could cause serious personal injury to the user and/or result in severe damage to the unit.
- Do not pull, carry, lift, or drag the Rabbit Air purifier by pulling its power cord. Remove the power plug from its outlet by grasping the plug and pulling gently.
- When the Rabbit Air purifier is plugged into a power outlet, keep all fingers, body parts, hair, jewelry, and loose clothing away from the openings.
Operation Guidelines
- Do not block the air intake or air outlet.
- Do not use the Rabbit Air purifier on or around hot surfaces.
- Do not use the Rabbit Air purifier in a room where it may come into contact with steam.
- Do not operate the Rabbit Air purifier on its side.
- Do not install the Rabbit Air purifier in greasy or damp environments.
- Do not use detergent or soap to clean the Rabbit Air purifier.
- Do not operate the Rabbit Air purifier without filters.
- Do not wash and reuse the filters except for the washable Pre-Filter.
- When transporting the Rabbit Air purifier, always hold the handle on the back of the unit.
A childproof feature pauses air purifier operation when the front panel is removed.
Installation Guidelines
- Avoid putting the Rabbit Air purifier in a place where the air intake or air outlet could become clogged with dirt.
- Make sure the Air Purifier has at least two feet of clearance from the air outlet and eight inches of clearance from the air intake on either side.

The air purifier uses a multi-stage filtration system:

Know your Customized Filter
Rabbit Air offers various customized filters:
- Toxin Absorber: Front color: Purple, Back color: Gray
- Germ Defense: Front color: Purple & Yellow, Back color: Yellow
- Pet Allergy: Front color: Purple & Rose, Back color: Rose
- Odor Remover: Front color: Black (coated material), Back color: Black
Control Panel / Operation Modes
Speed and Wireless Reset
- Short Press (Speed): Changes the fan speed through the following sequence: Silent, Low, Medium, High, Turbo.
- Press and Hold (Wireless Reset): Initiates or resets wireless settings to connect the air purifier to a 2.4 GHz wireless network using a mobile device. Download the Rabbit Air App to your device and follow setup instructions. The Wireless Indicator ? will flash during setup and remain illuminated once connected.
Mode and Filter Reset
- Short Press (Mode): Changes the operation mode to Auto Mode or Pollen Mode.
- Pollen Mode: Fan speed adjusts based on air quality. The Mood Light ? cycles through blue, purple, light purple, and pink.
- Auto Mode: Fan speed adjusts based on air quality, unless in Sleep Lighting mode (fan speed remains Silent). The Mood Light ? is solid blue.
- Press and Hold (Filter Reset): Resets the Filter Replacement Indicator ?. The indicator illuminates when filters need replacement. Press and hold the button after replacing filters until the indicator turns off.
Mood Light and Ion on/off
- Short Press (Mood Light): Turns the Mood Light ? on or off. The color corresponds to the current mode: Manual Speed (Blue), Auto Mode (Blue), Pollen Mode (cycles blue-purple-light purple-pink).
- Press and Hold (Ion): Turns the Negative Ion Generator ⚡ on or off.
Light Sensor (Sleep Lighting)
The Light Sensor ☀️ detects darkness and activates Sleep Lighting after three minutes. In Sleep Lighting, the Mood Light ? and Air Quality Indicator ? turn off. If in Auto Mode, fan speed defaults to Silent Speed to save energy and reduce noise. Sleep Lighting does not override Manual Speed or Pollen Mode fan speeds.
Air Quality Indicator
This indicator ? shows the current air quality detected by the Odor Sensor ? and Particle Sensor. The color shifts from blue (good) to purple, light purple, or red (poor) based on contaminant levels.

Changing the Sensitivity Level of the Sensors
You can adjust the sensitivity of the air quality sensors. They are preset to a standard level by default.
- Press and hold both the Speed and Mode buttons for three seconds.
- The Air Quality Indicator ? and Auto Mode Indicator will blink.
- Press the Speed button to choose the sensitivity level:
- Replace Filters: Low sensitivity
- Pollen Mode: Standard sensitivity
- Auto Mode: High sensitivity
- Press and hold the Speed and Mode buttons for three seconds to save the sensitivity level. If no action is taken for ten seconds, the selected level is saved automatically.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always unplug the unit before cleaning or maintenance.
Cleaning the MinusA2
Use a damp cloth to remove stubborn stains and buildup. Avoid commercial cleaning products.
- Wipe external surfaces with a clean, dry cloth.
- Clean the air intake and outlet with a soft brush.
- Remove the front panel and dust it with a dry cloth or soft brush.
- Dust the Mood Light lens on the back of the panel with a dry cloth, soft brush, or cotton swab.
Cleaning the Particle Sensor (every 12 months)
Clean the air inlet and outlet using a vacuum cleaner or soft brush.
- Open the particle sensor cover on the right side of the unit.
- Use a damp cotton swab to clean and dry the lens, dust inlet, and dust outlet.
Cleaning the Pre-filter (every 3 months)
The Pre-Filter should be cleaned based on air quality.
Vacuum method:
- Remove the front panel.
- Vacuum the Pre-Filter on low power with a nozzle or brush attachment to remove visible particles.
If vacuuming is insufficient, wash the Pre-Filter:
Washing method:
- Remove the Pre-Filter.
- Wash gently in lukewarm water for 2-3 minutes until clean.
- Rinse with clean tap water.
- Towel dry to remove excess water.
- Allow to air dry for 12-24 hours.
- Replace the dry Pre-Filter in the unit.
Cleaning the Exterior of the Unit
Wipe exterior surfaces with a dry cloth. If necessary, use a damp cloth for stubborn stains, avoiding commercial cleaners.
Filter Cleaning and Replacement Schedule
Clean particle sensor every 12 months when replacing filters. Clean front panel and other components as needed.

Replacing your Filters
Always unplug the unit before cleaning or replacing filters. Filter life varies based on household pollution levels.
Replacing the Pre-Filter
The Pre-Filter is designed to be cleaned and reused and does not need replacement.
- Pull the tabs on the front of the Pre-Filter to remove it.
- Set aside the Pre-Filter while replacing other filters.
Replacing the Medium Filter (every 12 months)
Do NOT discard the filter frame. Discard the old Medium Filter.
- Remove the old Medium Filter from the black frame and discard it.
- Open the new Medium Filter, discard the plastic wrapping, and secure it in the black frame.
Note: The Medium Filter frame and the Customized Filter frame look similar, but the Medium Filter frame is slightly larger.
Replacing the BioGS HEPA Filter (every 12 months)
Discard the old HEPA Filter; do not reuse.
- Remove and discard the old HEPA Filter.
- Remove the new filter from its plastic wrapping.
- Place the new HEPA Filter in the filter case.
Replacing the Customized Filter (every 12 months)
Do NOT discard the filter frame. Discard the old Customized Filter; do not reuse.
- Remove the old Customized Filter from the black frame and discard it.
- Take the new Customized Filter out of its plastic wrapping and place it in the black frame. Ensure the front of the filter faces up. Refer to the "Know your Customized Filter" chart (pages 7-8) to identify the front.
Replacing the Activated Carbon Filter (every 12 months)
Discard the old Activated Carbon Filter; do not reuse.
- Pull out and discard the old Activated Carbon Filter.
- Remove the new Activated Carbon Filter from its plastic wrapping and place it in the filter case.
Return filters to the filter case in order from back to front: Activated Carbon Filter, Customized Filter, BioGS HEPA Filter, Medium Filter, Pre-Filter. (See diagram on page 7-8).
Wall-Mounting your MinusA2 (Optional)
Use only the approved Rabbit Air wall-mount kit. The MinusA2 Air Purifier can be used free-standing or wall-mounted.
Wall-mount installation guidelines:
- Ensure at least 60 cm (2 feet) clearance from the ceiling and 20 cm (8 inches) clearance on either side.
- Be careful not to drop the front panel or filter case during filter replacement.
- Do not pull on the power cord.
- Ensure hanger screws are securely driven into studs.

Disclaimer for installing wall-mounted objects
Do not attempt installation if instructions are not understood. Contact a qualified contractor for mounting bracket installation. You risk damaging the purifier, other property, or personal injury from improper installation. Check for missing or defective parts. - After installing the bracket, ensure it is firmly in place before mounting the purifier.
- Avoid drilling or screwing into existing wiring in the wall.

IMPORTANT: By using the BioGS 2.0 or MinusA2 air purifiers, you agree to be bound by the terms of this 5-Year Limited Warranty. Rabbit Air reserves the right not to honor this warranty if it has not been registered within ninety (90) days of purchase. This warranty applies regardless of purchase source (authorized reseller or direct).
DO NOT USE YOUR RABBIT AIR PRODUCT UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY. If you do not agree, return the product within the stated return period for a refund.
This limited warranty does not cover replacement filters, filter frames, filter cases, or wall mount brackets.
How Consumer Law Relates to This Warranty
This warranty grants specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by location. Rabbit Air does not exclude, limit, or suspend other rights you may have, including those arising from non-conformity of a sales contract.
Warranty Limitations Subject to Consumer Law
To the extent permitted by law, this warranty and its remedies are exclusive. Rabbit Air disclaims all statutory and implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Where disclaimers are not permitted, Rabbit Air limits the duration and remedies of such warranties to the duration of this express warranty.
What is Covered by This Warranty?
Rabbit Air warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for FIVE (5) YEARS from the original retail purchase date, when used normally according to published guidelines.
What is NOT Covered by This Warranty?
This warranty does not apply to non-Rabbit Air branded hardware, consumables, cosmetic damage, damage from misuse, unauthorized service, modifications, normal wear and tear, sample/as-is products, defaced serial numbers, or stolen products. Rabbit Air does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Press the power button for two seconds to turn the unit on or off.
Vitesse
There are five speeds. The fan speed changes in the following order when pressing the speed adjustment button: Silent > Low > Medium > High > Turbo.

Démarrage – Installation Initiale
The MinusA2 is for residential use only. Filters are sealed in plastic to preserve quality and must be removed before operation.
Your customized filter will be in plastic packaging outside the unit. Set it aside for later installation (step 6).
- Remove the front panel by detaching it from the bottom and pulling upwards.
- Pull out the filter case by gripping the handles on each side and pulling forward. Place the case on a flat surface.
- Pull the tabs on the front of the pre-filter to remove it from the case.
- Remove the intermediate filter (white) from the black chassis, removing its plastic packaging. Reinstall it.
- Remove the HEPA filter and its plastic packaging.
- Remove the empty customized filter frame. Insert the customized filter into its frame, ensuring the front faces up. Refer to the "Know Your Customized Filter" table (page 11) to identify the front.
- Remove the activated carbon filter and its plastic packaging.
- Replace the filters in the filter case in the following order (back to front): Activated Carbon Filter, Customized Filter, BioGS HEPA Filter, Intermediate Filter, Pre-Filter. (See diagram on page 9).
- Slide the filter case back into the unit, first inserting the bottom, then pushing the top inwards.
- Replace the front panel by attaching it to the upper hooks first, then securing the bottom of the panel to the unit body.

Les Différents Modes de Fonctionnement
Mode Automatique
Press the power button to start the purifier in Auto Mode. The Mood Light ? remains blue. The Air Quality Indicator ? color changes based on air quality and adjusts fan speed accordingly. Sleep Mode activates if the room is dark for 3 minutes.

Press the power button to start the unit. Quickly press the Mode/Filter Reset button to select Pollen Mode. In Pollen Mode, the Mood Light ? fluctuates between blue, violet, mauve, and rose. The Air Quality Indicator ? color changes based on air quality and adjusts fan speed. Sleep Mode activates if the room is dark for 3 minutes. During Sleep Mode, the Mood Light ? and Air Quality Indicator ? turn off, but fan speed continues to adjust based on air quality.

Light sensors measure room light intensity. When the room is dark, the MinusA2 automatically enters Sleep Mode after three minutes. In Sleep Mode, the Mood Light ? and Air Quality Indicator ? turn off, and the Sleep Mode indicator turns on. If the unit is in Auto Mode, the fan speed automatically switches to Silent Speed, reducing energy consumption and noise. Sleep Mode does not override fan speed if the MinusA2 is operating in Manual Speed or Pollen Mode.

You can adjust the sensitivity level of the air quality sensors. They are preset to a standard sensitivity level by default.
- Press and hold both the Speed and Mode buttons simultaneously for three seconds.

- Replace Filters: Low sensitivity
- Pollen Mode: Standard sensitivity
- Auto Mode: High sensitivity

Press the "Mood Light & Ion on/off" button for three seconds to turn the negative ion generator ⚡ on or off. The corresponding indicator light illuminates when the generator is active.

- Speed - Press and hold: Start or reset wireless settings to connect the purifier to your home network using a mobile device. Download the Rabbit Air app from the Apple Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and follow installation instructions.
The wireless indicator ? blinks during configuration and remains lit once connected to the network.

- Remove the front panel.
- Vacuum the pre-filter with a hand vacuum using a nozzle or soft brush attachment on low power to remove visible particles.
If vacuuming is not sufficient, follow these steps to wash it:

- Fill a sink with lukewarm water and gently wash the pre-filter for 2-3 minutes or until completely clean.
- Rinse the pre-filter with clean tap water.
- Towel dry to remove excess water.

- Once completely dry, place it back into the unit.

Use only the approved Rabbit Air wall-mount kit for wall mounting your MinusA2 air purifier. The MinusA2 air purifier is designed for free-standing or wall-mounting.
