TH72 Resin Instruction
1. The Product Description
TH72 is a long-term tough resin, so you don't have to be careful when you play with prints, and it will not be easily damaged during long distance transportation. It is an ideal material for printing hair, capes, swords, etc., as well as static figures and models with hollow interiors. It can also be used as a toughening agent for other resins.

3. Printing
Support Setting
TH72 resin is not rigid enough when printing. Models with thin and less support were successfully printed with resins with good rigidity (such as standard resin, rigid resin, ABS resin, etc.), but they might fail to print with TH72 resin instead. It is recommended when printing with TH72 resin after the following treatment: a) Add more supports at the island of the model; b) The higher the supports, the larger the middle diameter; c) The heavier the model, the thicker the supports.
In addition, the following are the TH72 resin Support Settings recommended by RESIONE, which can be used for normal models after importing the Support Settings using the Chitubox slicer as instructed in the following figures. There are two support settings files in the zip package:
- TH72 Support Settings 2.cfg
- TH72 Support Settings 1.cfg
The first figure shows RESIONE TH72 Support Settings 1 within the Chitubox software. Key settings include 'Z Lift Height' at 5.00mm, with options for Light, Medium, or Heavy support density. Specific support parameters for the 'Middle' section are detailed: Shape is 'Cylinder', Diameter is 1.20mm, Angle is 70.00°, Small Pillar Shape is 'Cone', Upper Depth is 0.60mm, and Lower Depth is 0.50mm. Auto/Manual Support is enabled, with Cross Width at 2.50mm, Cross Start Height at 3.00mm, Density at 80.00%, and Angle at 45.00°.
The second figure, labeled 'TH72 Support Settings 2', shows a similar interface, likely for alternative settings, with 'Auto/Manual Support' enabled and other parameters like 'Cross Width', 'Cross Start Height', 'Density', and 'Angle' visible.
4. Printing Settings
You can download the resin printing parameters from RESIONE's official website. The detailed operations are as follows: Navigate to RESIONE's official website, then select 'Support' -> 'Settings'.
5. Cleaning and Post-curing
Cleaning
You can use an ultrasonic or 3D printing special cleaning machine with ethanol (concentration ≥95%) or IPA. Cleaning time should be ≤5 minutes. Please use compressed air to dry the prints after cleaning.
Post-curing
If you use a post-curing box with a power of 40W, the recommended post-curing time is about 30-60 minutes. Adjust the post-curing time according to the power of the post-curing box: the greater the power, the shorter the time.
The process is illustrated with a sequence of images: A bottle labeled "ETHANOL" and a bottle labeled "IPA", followed by a pair of blue nitrile gloves, then two small cleaning brushes, a cylindrical cleaning machine, a black hairdryer with an orange nozzle, and finally a green 3D printer post-curing box. These are connected by orange arrows indicating a process flow.
Attentions
- For some types of 3D printers, the surface of the printed TH72 resin parts may have a silky texture, and the prints may feel slightly sticky after cleaning.
- The resin prints will be fragile after post-curing. It is not recommended to apply force to the prints immediately. Allow time for internal stress to be completely released before handling.
