Product Overview
The AMBIUS IP55 PC Security and Sensor Lights are designed for reliable outdoor illumination and security. They feature fully adjustable heads to direct light precisely where needed.

Dimensions
Ceiling Mount Dimensions: Shows a base plate with a diameter of 149.3mm and a depth of 78.3mm. Mounting holes are indicated.
Wall Mount Dimensions: Shows a base plate with a width of 132mm and a height of 146mm. It has a depth of 74mm and 31.2mm. Mounting holes are indicated.
SETTINGS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Time Adjustment
Adjustable from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. For convenience, approximate 5 & 9 minute positions are indicated.
Power Adjustment
Use the Centre dial marked DIM. There are 4 power positions: 16 watts, 12 watts, 8 watts, 4 watts. The highest 16W is marked with a '+' symbol. The lowest, 4W, is marked with a '-' symbol. The other two markings are for 8W and 12 watts.
Lux Adjustment
To operate in daylight, position the dial at the '+' mark. To operate at night, position the dial at the '-' mark (approximately 3 lux). The other two positions are for low light conditions, indicated at approximately 30 lux and 300 lux.
Description of Settings Diagram: The settings panel shows three adjustment dials: TIME, LUX, and DIM. The TIME dial has markings indicating a range from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. The LUX dial has markings for daylight ('+') and night ('-'), with intermediate settings for low light. The DIM dial adjusts power/lumen output across four positions, marked with '+' for the highest (16W) and '-' for the lowest (4W), with two intermediate marks for 8W and 12W. A switch for selecting color temperature (3000K, 4000K, 5700K) is also shown, along with a base mount diagram indicating a 3-pin connection.
INSTALLATION
- Ensure the power is turned off before starting.
- Unscrew the retention screws on the front and remove the base plate.
- Feed the connection cable through the aperture provided in the base plate.
- For Vertical Installation: Ensure the arrow on the base plate points upwards.
- For Horizontal Installation: Ensure the arrow points opposite to the sensor/lights.
- Fix the base plate securely to the wall using the provided screw holes.
- Connect the power source to the terminals: 'N' (blue wire) for Neutral, 'L' (brown wire) for Live, and Earth (green/yellow wire) according to the wiring diagram.
- Choose your desired colour temperature by moving the switch to either 3K, 4K, or 5.7K.
- Now, plug the light unit back into the base by lining up the arrow on the unit with the 3-pin terminal on the base.
- Turn on the power.
Description of Wiring Diagram (Fig 1.): Illustrates the 3-pin connection for the light. The terminals are labeled 'N' (Neutral, blue wire), 'L' (Live, brown wire), and Earth (green/yellow wire). The diagram shows the light unit plugging into the base plate.
SAFETY WARNING
- Always read the instructions carefully before installation. Failure to do so could result in damage to the product, property, or harm to the installer.
- This product must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the Australian / New Zealand Wiring Rules AS/NZS 3000.
TEST
To test daylight operation: Set the TIME dial to the '-' symbol and the LUX dial to the '+' sun symbol. After 30 seconds, the sensor should detect presence and turn on, then turn off after the set time (10 seconds). To set the sensor for nighttime operation during the day, turn the LUX dial towards the moon '-' symbol and cover the sensor face to simulate darkness.
CARE AND CLEANING
To clean, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
PROOF OF PURCHASE
Please retain your purchase receipt for all warranty claims.
WARRANTY
This product is warranted against faults in manufacture when used in normal domestic use for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase.
CDB GROUP undertakes to replace this product at no charge if found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault during the warranty period. This warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, neglect, shipping accidents, incorrect installation, or work carried out by anyone other than a qualified electrical service technician.
If your product fails to operate satisfactorily, please return it to the retailer from whom it was purchased to obtain a repair or replacement product. You will need to produce satisfactory evidence of the date of purchase. If the product is to be replaced (and cannot be repaired), the replacement will be of the same or similar product or accessory, excluding packaging and instruction cards.
In New Zealand, the product is also covered by the Consumers Guarantee Act (1993). In accordance with this act, consumers are advised that the manufacturer does not undertake that repair facilities and parts are necessarily available for this product.
