Husqvarna CEORA Robotic Lawn Mower

A. System Overview

The Husqvarna CEORA™ is a robotic lawn mower comprising a drive unit and a cutting deck. Its systematic movement pattern efficiently cuts large areas. The product utilizes EPOS™ (Exact Positioning Operating System) technology, relying on satellite signals for navigation, thus eliminating the need for boundary wires.

The system includes a robotic lawn mower, a charging station, and a reference station. Both the mower and the reference station receive satellite signals for positioning. The stationary reference station sends correction data to the mower for precise location tracking. A work area is virtually created within an app by operating the product and adding waypoints to map the area.

For a complete map installation, a work area and a charging station are necessary. A work area is a zone where the product operates and cuts grass automatically, defined by virtual boundaries. The charging station can be placed within or near the work area, connected by a transport path. A transport path is a specified route between the docking point and a work area, where the mower travels without cutting grass. Stay-out zones, defined by virtual boundaries, can be created for areas where the product should not operate. A maintenance point is a specific location where the product can be parked.

B. Connectivity

a. Automower® Connect App: Used for product settings and daily operation.

b. Husqvarna Fleet Services™: A cloud-based solution providing commercial fleet managers with an up-to-date overview of all products. Available as a web service and an app.

C. Installation

For reliable and uninterrupted operation, the reference station and the robotic lawn mower require an unimpeded view of the sky.

1. Install the Automower® Connect app and the Husqvarna Fleet Services™ app on your mobile device. Download from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Install the reference station. Refer to the Operator's manual for the reference station.
3. Install the charging station.
4. Attach the cutting deck to the drive unit.
5. Pair the robotic lawn mower with the app. Complete the basic setup in the app to pair the mower with the reference station and the charging station.
6. Specify the work area: Operate the product clockwise using appDrive around the work area and add waypoints on the app's map.
7. Specify stay-out zones: Operate the product counterclockwise using appDrive around the stay-out zone and add waypoints on the app's map.
8. Specify the transport path: Start in the work area, operate the product using appDrive, and add waypoints on the app's map. When saving, the transport path connects to the docking point.
9. Specify the maintenance point and create a path to the charging station: Start at the maintenance point, operate the product using appDrive to add waypoints on the app's map. The path to the charging station connects to the docking point when the maintenance point is saved.
10. Use the app to adjust the schedule and settings for the robotic lawn mower.
