Firmware Update for Certain Pioneer In-Dash AV Receivers

Dear Valued Pioneer Customer,
Pioneer is announcing a firmware update for specific Pioneer In-Dash AV Receivers sold in Australia & New Zealand. Please note that installation on any other product could cause irreversible damage.

Update Details:
This firmware update addresses the following issues:
- Fixed a problem where Radio presets could not be controlled via Steering Wheel Controls (SWC) on certain screens.
- Improved the behavior of Dark Mode linkage.
- Includes minor bug fixes.
Requirements for Update:
To perform this update, the following items are needed:
- A Pioneer In-Dash AV Receiver.
- A blank USB storage device (no files), with a capacity of 2 GB or larger, formatted to FAT32 or NTFS.
Instructions for installing the firmware are available on the same page as the firmware download. The installation process is expected to take approximately two minutes.
How to Obtain the Free Firmware Update:
- Download the firmware update files to a computer from the Pioneer website: https://www.pioneer.com.au/firmwaresoftware/
- Transfer the downloaded files to the USB storage device for insertion into the Pioneer In-Dash AV Receiver.
