Controller Overview

This document provides instructions for the 8BitDo Ultimate Wired Controller for Xbox.

Controller Layout

The controller features the following components:

• Top Face: D-pad (十字键), Left Analog Stick (左摇杆), Right Analog Stick (右摇杆), View button (视图键), Menu button (菜单键), Share button (分享键), P1 button, P2 button.
• Shoulder Buttons/Triggers: LB (Left Bumper / 左肩键), LT (Left Trigger / 左扳机键), RB (Right Bumper / 右肩键), RT (Right Trigger / 右扳机键).
• Other Features: 3.5mm audio jack (3.5mm 音频口), microphone mute switch (禁麦开关).
• LED Indicators: White status LED (状态指示灯), Profile LED (配置指示灯).

The controller also includes LSB (Left Stick Button / 左摇杆按键) and RSB (Right Stick Button / 右摇杆按键).

Connectivity

For Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S / Xbox One

Connect the controller to your Xbox console using the provided USB cable. The status LED will illuminate solid when the connection is established and the controller is ready for use.

For Windows 10

Connect the controller to your Windows 10 device using the USB cable. The status LED will illuminate solid once the connection is established and the controller is ready for use.

System Requirement: Windows 10 version 1903 or later.

Button Swap Functionality

This feature allows for temporary swapping of button functions. The custom mapping will revert to default upon controller disconnection or power cycle. For permanent customization, use the 8BitDo Ultimate Software.

1. Press and hold any two of the following buttons: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LSB, RSB.
2. Press the [⭐ Star button] (星号键) to perform the swap. The profile LED (配置指示灯) will blink to confirm the action.
3. To cancel the swap, press and hold the two swapped buttons again, then press the [⭐ Star button].

Volume Control

Adjust in-game audio volume and voice chat balance. A beep sound indicates maximum or minimum volume levels. Vibration confirms when the setting is at the middle (default) value.

1. In-game Volume Adjustment: Press and hold the [⚙️ Profile button] (配置键) and the Up directional button to increase volume. Press and hold the [⚙️ Profile button] and the Down directional button to decrease volume.
2. Voice/Game Volume Balance:
   • Press and hold the [⚙️ Profile button] and the Left directional button: Increases game volume while decreasing voice chat volume.
   • Press and hold the [⚙️ Profile button] and the Right directional button: Increases voice chat volume while decreasing game volume.

The 8BitDo Ultimate Software offers advanced control, enabling you to customize button mapping, adjust analog stick and trigger sensitivity, and manage vibration feedback.

Download the software from app.8bitdo.com.

The profile LED (配置指示灯) illuminates when a custom profile is active.
