Introduction
1.1 Description
Press the knob to enter menu or confirm selection. Turn the knob to change between selections. Hold the knob to exit the menu page and back to home screen. Hold the knob to pause the fan before opening the lid.
The smoker controller unit features a power port, three probe ports labeled P1 (Ambient Probe), P2 (Food Temp Probe), and P3 (Food Temp Probe), a foot for stability, and a blower fan. A mobile app screenshot shows a connected device named 'smoker22' with current temperature (e.g., 77°F), target temperature (e.g., 225°F), fan speed control (OFF/ON), and other status indicators.

1.3 Basic Operation
1.3.1 Main Page
The home screen displays current grill temperature (P1), food temperatures (P2, P3), target temperature (T), fan power percentage (F), and a timer indicator. Place the smoker controller on a stable and firm surface. Allow 30-45 minutes for the controller to gradually increase and stabilize the grill temperature.
1.3.2 Menu Setting
Click the knob to enter the Main Menu. Options include BBQ, Manual Fan, Set Alert, and Reset. Selecting "Reset" from the main menu will reset the current running mode.
1.3.3 BBQ
1. Select "BBQ" from the Main Menu to enter. 2. Rotate the knob to set a target temperature, then click the knob to confirm. The controller will return to the main interface and display BBQ status. 3. The maximum fan power is limited to 70% on smaller grills. Manually set the fan, temperature alarm, temperature unit, and furnace size as needed.

Note: If using Wi-Fi, chart data is saved to the server. If using Bluetooth, chart data is saved to local storage (up to 3 days).
Wireless Connection
3.1 Get Inkbird Pro app for your phone
Download the Inkbird Pro app from Google Play or App Store. You can also scan the QR code to download it directly.
3.2 Account Registration
Register before using the Inkbird Pro app. Select your Country/Region, enter your e-mail, and verify with a code sent to your mailbox. If you have an existing account, log in directly. The device supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi routers only.
3.3 Wi-Fi Connection
3.3.1 Connect the smoker controller to your phone in Fast Flash Mode
- Plug in the smoker controller; it will turn on automatically.
- Open the app and click the [Add Device icon] to start the connection, then choose ISC-007BW from the device list.
- Choose Fast Flash mode and ensure the smoker controller is in Fast Flash mode.
- Select a preferred Wi-Fi network and enter the password to connect.
- Wait a few seconds and place the smoker as close to your phone as possible during pairing.
- Pairing Success!
3.3.2 Connect the smoker controller to your phone in AP mode
Fast Flash mode is recommended. If it fails, try AP Mode (Slow Flashing mode). Press and hold the button for seconds to switch to AP mode; the [Wi-Fi icon] will flash slowly.
- Plug in the smoker controller; it will turn on automatically.
- Open the app and click the [Add Device icon] to start the connection, then choose ISC-007BW from the device list.
- Confirm the [Wi-Fi icon] of the smoker controller is blinking slowly and choose Slow Flash mode, then click "Next step" to start the connection.
- Choose a preferred Wi-Fi network and enter the password, then click "Confirm" to proceed.
- Enter your phone's WLAN interface and connect to the "SmartLife XXXX" Wi-Fi network without a password. Return to the app and confirm successful connection.
- Wait a few seconds and place the smoker as close to your phone as possible during pairing.
- Pairing Success!
Notes:
- Allow the app to access Location Services when connecting for the first time. Choose "Allow While Using App" if concerned about privacy.
- Android System phones require GPS to function correctly; ensure GPS is turned on.
3.3.3 Wi-Fi Reset
Press and hold the "Wi-Fi" button for 5 seconds to reset the Wi-Fi. Follow the guide to pair the device with your phone.
3.4 Bluetooth Connection
- Plug in the smoker controller; it will turn on automatically.
- Turn on your Bluetooth and click "Next step" to start the connection.
- Wait a few seconds and place the smoker as close to your phone as possible during pairing.
- Pairing Success.
Note: Turn on GPS on your Android phone as Google Play requires it to work fully. Once the device is successfully paired, you do not need to pair it again unless you change your phone.
Inkbird Pro App Interface
The Inkbird Pro app interface displays various controls and information:
- Connection Status: Indicates if the device is connected.
- High Temperature Alarm Setting: Allows setting high-temperature alerts.
- Stove Size: Displays the size of the smoker/grill.
- Current Temperature: Shows the real-time temperature.
- Target value of the Stove: Displays the desired temperature.
- Fan Output Run Time: Shows how long the fan has been running.
- Fan Output Rate: Indicates the fan speed or power.
- Fan Output Control Switch: Allows turning the fan ON or OFF.
- Stove Control Setting: General settings for the smoker.
- High Temperature Alarm Value: The specific value for the high-temperature alarm.
- Current Temperature: Another display of the current temperature.
- Temperature Graph: Visual representation of temperature over time.
- Timer Setting: For setting cooking timers.
- Preset Temperature Setting: Allows saving and selecting predefined temperature settings.
Precautions
The maximum temperature for short-time measurement is 300°C/572°F, and for long-time measurement is 250°C/482°F. The probe and metal wire can be burned out if the temperature exceeds these limits.
- Do not put probes or metal wire into fire or contact the heating tube directly.
- Do not put probes or metal wire into water, as it may lead to inaccurate measurements.
- Do not press probes or metal wire too hard, as it may damage the plastic film and cause a short circuit.
- Please remove the silicon case before using the probe.
The probe features a sensor at the tip, a non-waterproof section, and a Teflon cable with stainless steel mesh, approximately 120cm/3.9ft in length.
