This guide provides step-by-step instructions for the installation of the Samsara SC21 Bullet IP Site Camera.

Installation Steps
Step 1: Cable Gland Attachment
Attach the cable gland if the camera will be used outdoors or in a wet environment. Note: The SC21 camera supports various deployments and features; only the Ethernet cable is required for this installation.
Step 2: Mounting Plate Installation
If necessary, install drywall anchors using the alignment sticker as a guide. Feed the Ethernet cable through the central opening of the back plate. Secure the back plate to the mounting surface using the provided screws.
Step 3: Sunshield Attachment (Outdoor Use)
For outdoor deployments, attach the sunshield to the camera using the provided screws and the Torx driver. ⚙️
Step 4: Loosen Fastening Ring
Loosen the camera's fastening ring.
Step 5: Loosen Pan Screw
Loosen the camera's pan adjustment screw using the provided Torx driver. ⚙️
Step 6: Add Camera to Dashboard
Once the camera is connected to the network, add it to your Samsara dashboard. Navigate to Devices > Cameras > Add Cameras. You can identify the camera in the results list by its serial number and/or MAC address, which is printed on the camera's box.
Step 7: Confirm Positioning
After adding the camera, verify its position by viewing the live feed in the mobile app or on the dashboard. The following steps illustrate how to adjust the camera's field of view using different axes.
Step 8a: Rotate Camera (Optional)
Twist the camera body to rotate it.
Step 8b: Tilt Camera (Optional)
Tilt the camera body to adjust the vertical angle.
Step 8c: Tighten Fastening Ring
Tighten the fastening ring to secure the camera's position.
Step 9: Tighten Pan Screw
Tighten the camera's pan adjustment screw using the provided Torx driver. ⚙️
