1. System Requirements

JetFlash® Vault is compatible with the following Operating Systems:

?Suggestion: To ensure sufficient power is supplied to JetFlash Vault, it is recommended to insert it directly into a USB 3.0 (or 2.0) port on your desktop or laptop PC. Avoid connecting JetFlash Vault to devices with an additional USB port, such as a HUB or keyboard.

2. Set Password or Hint (Windows)

Before using your JetFlash Vault, it is recommended to set up a password and a hint to protect your data on JetFlash Vault.

  1. Connect the JetFlash Vault drive to a USB-enabled port on your desktop or laptop PC.
  2. Please open File Explorer and click on DVD RW JetFlash Vault on the left. Then, double-click JetFlashVault_Launcher to launch JetFlash Vault.

Set a password, and re-enter it for confirmation.

Note: The password must be at least 6 characters long and include 3 of the following character types: Uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters.

⚠️Warning! Please remember your password well. For security reasons, if you forget your password, you will have to format the device to use it again. Formatting the device will erase all data stored on JetFlash Vault.

Set a hint (Optional). The hint can be useful if you forget your password. Click OK to finalize the password and hint settings.

Note: The hint cannot be similar to the password.

Similar to the previous dialog, but the "Hint" field is populated with an example: "Ex: favorite color+number".

Click Finish to complete password and hint settings.

3. Use JetFlash Vault (Windows)

  1. Connect the JetFlash Vault drive to a USB-enabled port on your desktop or laptop PC.
  2. Open File Explorer and click on DVD RW JetFlash Vault on the left. Then, double-click JetFlashVault_Launcher to launch JetFlash Vault.

Enter your password, then click Login.

⚠️Warning! The login attempt has a maximum preset of 10 attempts. If the limit is reached, your JetFlash Vault must be formatted and a new password set. Formatting the device will erase all data stored on JetFlash Vault.

Once you have logged in, you can use JetFlash Vault.

4. JetFlash Vault Options (Windows)

Once you have logged into JetFlash Vault, first click the upward arrow in the right corner of the Windows taskbar, then right-click the JetFlash Vault icon to view the options menu.

⚙️ JetFlash Vault Settings

Note: You must enter the current password to set/modify these settings.

Password: Modify your password and/or hint

Once logged in, you can navigate the data stored on JetFlash Vault.

Format your JetFlash Vault.

Note: You must enter the current password to set/modify these settings.

Close JetFlash Vault

Safely eject your JetFlash Vault from your system.
