TAG-N-TRAC: MERAKI INTEGRATION GUIDE
SUPPLY CHAIN VISIBILITY SOLUTIONS
Please follow the following steps for integration using your Meraki dashboard:
Enable Bluetooth radio scanning
Select "Wireless" ? "IOT Radio Settings" ? Bluetooth Scanning ON.
Refer to Figure 2 for a visual representation of the Meraki IoT Radio Settings interface.
Configure webhook
- Go to section "Location and scanning" (select "Network-wide" ? "General" scroll down).
- Select "Scanning API" ? enabled ?.
- Configure POST URL:
- URL should be set to
https://api.tagntrac.io/device/meraki/data
- Secret should be set to your ORG key (from Tag-N-Trac dashboard settings).
- API version =
v2
- Radio type =
Bluetooth
- URL should be set to
- Provide your Tag-N-Trac support representative with your "validator" code (currently provided via email). This is required for the Tag-N-Trac account to respond correctly to the Meraki authentication challenge.
- After confirmation that the validator string has been configured, press the "validate" button. The status icon should change to show validation successful ✔️.
Refer to Figure 1 for a visual representation of the Meraki Location and scanning interface, including the Scanning API and POST URL configuration.
View Tag-N-Trac devices
Tag-N-Trac Bluetooth devices within range of any of your Meraki devices can now be seen on the Tag-N-Trac dashboard.
