General Introduction

Adopt 2.4GHz wireless transmission technology, the Saramonic Blink900 S is an incredibly lightweight, ultracompact, and easy-to-use wireless microphone system for up to 2 people, delivering exceptional, broadcast-quality sound. With built-in rechargeable batteries, the system provides long battery life for daily recording. The operating range can reach up to 200 metres.

With a built-in omnidirectional microphone, the small and light TXS transmitter features 360-degree sound pickup, ideal for capturing natural-sounding dialogue for video productions, interviews, speech, and many other applications. Multiple functions are integrated into the power button, making it easy to use.

The dual-channel RX receiver features a selectable Mono / Stereo output setting. A 3.5mm headphone jack is available for real-time monitoring, and the 3.5mm TRS output makes the unit compatible with DSLR, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, recorders, mixers, and more. It also features a high-resolution LCD display that lets you see vital information at a glance.

The magnetic belt clip of the TXS transmitter & RX receiver can be used with the magnetic nameplate (sold separately), which can be easily clipped to shirts and clothing, or used with a lanyard (sold separately) for hanging on the neck.

The Blink900 RXDi receiver has an MFi Certified Lightning output and is designed for iOS devices. The Blink900 RXUC receiver has a USB-C output and is designed for devices with a USB-C port, including Android smartphones and tablets.

The Blink900 S2BOX charging case allows you to charge the TXS transmitters and RX receiver anywhere, making the Blink900 S2 kit easy to carry on.

Product Structure

Blink900 TXS Transmitter

The Blink900 TXS is a clip-on transmitter with a built-in microphone.

• 1. Power/Mute button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to power on/off. Press to mute on/off. Press twice to enter pairing mode.
• 2. Power/Mute indicator: Shows charging status (Static red ?), low battery (Blinks red rapidly ?), or mute status (Blinks red slowly ?). Fully charged is Static blue ?.
• 3. Pairing indicator: Shows connection status (Static blue ? for successfully paired, Blinks blue rapidly ? for pairing, Blinks blue slowly ? for unpaired).
• 4. Built-in microphone.
• 5. USB-C charging port (DC 5V): Use the included USB-C charging cable to charge the transmitter.
• 6. Charging contacts.
• 7. Magnetic belt clip.

Blink900 RX Receiver

The Blink900 RX is a camera-mountable clip-on receiver.

• 1. Power button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on/off the receiver.
• 2. +/-/SET button: Used for volume adjustment, menu navigation, and selection.
• 3. - button: Used for decreasing volume or navigating menus.
• 4. LCD display: Shows vital information. Refer to the 'LCD Display Operation Guide' for details.
• 5. USB-C charging port (DC 5V): Use the included USB-C charging cable to charge the receiver.
• 6. Output jack: Connects the Blink900 RX to a camera, recorder, or mixer with the included output cable.
• 7. 3.5 mm headphone output: Connect headphones ? for audio monitoring.
• 8. Charging contacts.
• 9. Magnetic belt clip.
• 10. Ambient light sensor.

Blink900 RXDi Receiver

The Blink900 RXDi is a compact receiver with a Lightning connector for iOS devices.

• 1. MFi Certified Lightning connector: Connects to iOS Lightning devices.
• 2. Pairing indicator: Shows connection status (Static blue ? for successfully paired, Blinks blue rapidly ? for pairing, Blinks blue slowly ? for unpaired).
• 3. Mono/Stereo toggle: Selects output mode. Mono combines audio into one channel; Stereo separates audio into left and right channels.
• 4. Pairing pin-hole.
• 5. USB-C charging port: Can power external devices or connect USB-C headphones for monitoring. iPhones and iPads can be powered and charged through this port.

Blink900 RXUC Receiver

The Blink900 RXUC is a compact receiver with a USB-C connector for Android and other USB-C devices.

• 1. USB-C connector: Connects to Android smartphones, tablets, computers, and other USB-C devices.
• 2. Pairing indicator: Shows connection status (Static blue ? for successfully paired, Blinks blue rapidly ? for pairing, Blinks blue slowly ? for unpaired).
• 3. Mono/Stereo toggle: Selects output mode. Mono combines audio into one channel; Stereo separates audio into left and right channels.
• 4. Pairing pin-hole.
• 5. USB-C charging port: Can power external devices or connect USB-C headphones for monitoring. Most USB-C devices can be powered and charged through this port.

Blink900 S2BOX Charging Case

The Blink900 S2BOX is a portable charging case for the TXS transmitters and RX receiver.

• 1. Charging contacts.
• 2. Indicator button: Press to display the charging case's current battery level.
• 3. Battery level indicator.
• 4. USB-C charging port (DC 5V): Use the included USB-C charging cable to charge the case.

LCD Display Operation Guide

Wireless Receiver Blink900 RX

Home screen: If no operation is performed within 20 seconds on menu screens, the display will automatically return to home screen.

• 1. Channel icon: Displays pairing status (A/B paired ?, A/B unpaired ?, A off/off ❌).
• 2. Audio input level meter: Shows the real-time audio input level.
• 3. RF level indicator: Indicates signal strength (strong ?, weak ?, unpaired ❌).
• 4. Transmitter battery level indicator: Displays transmitter battery ?. Recharge when flashing.
• 5. Receiver output mode: M for Mono, S for Stereo.
• 6. Output volume: Displays current volume level.
• 7. Receiver battery level indicator: Displays receiver battery ?. Recharge when flashing.

Menu Screen

• Channel Setting: Turn on/off channels A/B. Default: Channel A On, Channel B Off.
• Output Volume: Set from 0-9. Default is '6'. Setting is retained after power off.
• Output Mode: Mono or Stereo. Mono mixes audio to both channels; Stereo separates audio to left/right. Default is Mono.
• Backlight Time: Options for always on, 10, 30, or 60 seconds. Default is 'Always On'.
• Brightness: Set to 'Auto' or 1-10. Default is '7'.
• Language Setting: English and Simplified Chinese available. Default is English.
• Restore Default Setting: Option to reset to factory defaults.
• Pairing: Select 'Yes?' to pair. Refer to 'Operation Guide' for details.
• Version: Displays the Blink900 RX version number.

Operation Guide

For Blink900 S1/S2 Kits

1. Power on the transmitter(s) and receiver by long-pressing the power button.
2. Pairing: The system is pre-paired from the factory. If connection is lost, follow these steps:
   1. Long press the SET button on the receiver to enter the menu.
   2. Use +/- buttons to select the 'Pair' menu.
   3. Long press SET to select.
   4. Select 'Yes?' and long press SET to confirm. The receiver enters pairing mode.
   5. Double-press the transmitter's power button to enter pairing mode (pairing indicator blinks blue rapidly ?).
   6. Transmitter and receiver will pair within 10 seconds. Pairing indicator turns static blue ? upon success.
3. Connect the receiver to a camera, recorder, or mixer using the included 3.5mm TRS to TRS audio output cable.
4. Ready to record.

For Blink900 S3/S4/S5/S6 Kits

1. Long press the transmitter's power button for 3 seconds to power on.
2. Plug the Blink900 RXDi into an iOS Lightning device or Blink900 RXUC into a USB-C device.
3. Pairing: The system is pre-paired from the factory. If connection is lost, follow these steps:
   1. Double-press the transmitter's power button to enter pairing mode (pairing indicator blinks blue rapidly ?).
   2. Insert the pairing pin into the receiver's pairing pin-hole and press firmly to enter pairing mode (pairing indicator blinks blue rapidly ?).
   3. Transmitter and receiver will pair within 10 seconds. Pairing indicators on both turn static blue ?.
4. Ready to record.

Note on Pairing

• If one transmitter fails to pair in a two-transmitter setup, turn off the successfully paired transmitter and repeat the pairing process.
• Due to the 2.4GHz frequency, signals can be attenuated or interfered with. Avoid obstacles like walls and buildings, and keep away from high-power 2.4GHz devices (Wi-Fi antennas, radios).

Charging Guide

Please recharge the device when the battery is low.

1. Charge the transmitter/receiver:

• Use the charging case: Place transmitters and receiver into the case to charge. They will automatically turn off.
• Use USB-C cable: Connect the included USB-C cable to charge the transmitter/receiver directly.

2. Charge the charging case:

Use the included USB-C cable to charge the case.
