Instructions on Recommended Gain for Camera Setup

This document provides a detailed overview of the compatibility of various camera brands and models with Saramonic Ultra, along with the recommended gain settings, aiming to offer comprehensive configuration guidance to users.

Camera Compatibility and Recommended Gain Table

• The recommended gain applies only when the Saramonic Ultra receiver (RX) is connected to the camera via 3.5 mm TRS audio cable.

• The Saramonic app features a large number of presets based on popular cameras. These presets automatically set the gain levels of your Saramonic Ultra to best match the audio levels and settings of the camera you're using it with. Before setting the camera gain, it is recommended to select your camera brand and model in the Saramonic app first.

Operation Guide

1. Please scan the QR code below with your phone to install the Saramonic app. [QR Code]

2. Mount the correct adapter on the receiver according to your device's port, and then connect the receiver to your smartphone. Launch the Saramonic app, tap the [Menu icon] in the upper left corner, then tap “Saramonic Device Management" to enter the receiver (RX) control page.

3. Tap "Brand" and "Model" under "Camera Presets". Swipe up or down on the screen to select the camera brand and model you are using.

4. With your camera preset loaded onto your Saramonic Ultra, you can check the preset by pressing the gain modes on your receiver. Your camera information is displayed on the screen.

Sony: Displays audio rec level with options for reset, select, adjust, and exit.

Canon: Shows recording level with a slider and OK button.

Nikon: Features microphone sensitivity settings with manual adjustment and OK button.

Panasonic: Displays sound rec level adjustment with channel indicators, mute, and set options.

Fujifilm: Shows external microphone volume adjustment with level indicators.
