Drivers Install Instructions

⚠️ Prior to installing the driver, make sure that the CPAP is unplugged from the computer.

1. You will only need to perform these steps if the boxes do not become colored when plugging in your CPAP.

2. Go to the following URL to download the drivers: https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers

   The page displays driver information and download options. Look for the section related to VCP Drivers Features and Benefits.

3. On the download page, select the 'Downloads' tab.

4. Download the CP210x Universal Windows Driver by clicking on the link. The page shows a section labeled 'Software • 10' which lists the 'CP210x Universal Windows Driver' with version v10.1.10 and a date of 1/13/2021.

5. Once the download is complete, navigate to your downloads folder and double-click the downloaded file, which is named 'CP210x_Universal_Windows_Driver'. This file is a compressed folder.

6. In the file explorer window that appears, click the 'Extract All' button. This action is typically found under 'Compressed Folder Tools' in the ribbon interface.

7. A dialog box titled 'Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders' will appear. Leave the default destination folder path as is, and click the 'Extract' button.

8. After extraction, find the file named 'silabser'. There will be two such files. Identify the one with an icon resembling a piece of paper and a gear. Right-click on this specific 'silabser' file and select 'Install' from the context menu.

9. A pop-up window will appear confirming that the operation completed successfully.

   ℹ️ The operation completed successfully.

   Click 'OK' to close this confirmation message.

10. Finally, reset your computer. After the computer restarts, open the MiniCPAP software and then plug in your CPAP device.
