Fence Post Repair Kit Assembly & Usage Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Leaning Post

1. Clear weeds, rocks, or debris within 12 inches around the base of the leaning fence post.
2. Ensure the post is roughly aligned upright before securing.

Step 2: Insert the Bottom Stake

1. Split the repair kit into upper and lower sections.
2. Position the lower stake 6–8 inches away from the post.
3. Use the split design to press the stake into the soil (no digging needed). For hard soil, tap the top gently with a rubber mallet.

Step 3: Adjust for Uneven Ground

• If the terrain is sloped, add/remove included washers between the stake segments to angle the support. Tighten the screws to lock the position.

Step 4: Attach the Upper Support

1. Align the upper stake with the fence post.
2. Use the provided U-bolts to clamp the stake to the post, ensuring a snug fit.
3. Tighten bolts until the post is stable (no wobbling).

Step 5: Final Checks

1. Test the post by gently pushing— it should feel solid.
2. For extra stability in windy areas, add a second kit on the opposite side.

Maintenance & Care

1. Cleaning: Wipe steel parts with a damp cloth to remove mud; avoid abrasive tools.
2. Rust Prevention: Reapply anti-rust paint to scratches (kit comes pre-coated).
3. Seasonal Check: Inspect washers and bolts after heavy rain/snow to re-tighten if loose.
