Multi-Function Amplifier Capabilities

The amplifier unit provides advanced functions for enhanced measurement and control.

New Modes

  • Thickness Calibration Function: A 3-step easy calibration process simplifies setup, compensating for misalignments.
  • Ambient Light Elimination Function: Automatically reduces the effects of ambient light by activating when the sampling cycle is set to 2 ms or 5 ms.
  • Height Difference Filter Function: Identifies step edges automatically, delivering one-shot output for each step, simplifying settings for count and seam detection.

Calculation Functions

Supports calculation modes for various applications:

  • Addition Mode: Useful for thickness or width measurements.
  • Subtraction Mode: Ideal for measuring height differences or tilt.

High Pass Filter

This function displays measured values above a set cutoff frequency, ignoring changes below it, effectively filtering out natural runout and aiding in measuring seams or defects.

Function Choices

  • NPN/PNP Output Selection: Supports both NPN and PNP outputs, with settings adjustable after initial power-on. Judgements can be output as HIGH, GO, or LOW.
  • Bank Function: Allows registration of up to four patterns of specific settings, enabling quick switching between configurations for different measurement targets.
  • Analog Output Selection: Offers multiple analog output options: 0-5V, ±5V, 1-5V, or 4-20mA, selected upon initial power-on and changeable later.

Mounting Options

Units are available for both panel mount and DIN-rail mount installations.
