Power Cord Information
The Cisco Codec Pro requires a power cable with specific ratings: 10A, 250V, with an EL 701B (IEC60320/C13) power connector. If an optional power cord is not supplied, the customer is responsible for selecting a compatible cord to avoid electrical safety hazards. For orders to Argentina, Brazil, and Japan, a specific compatible power cord must be ordered with the system.

Installation and Setup
Mounting the Codec in a Rack (Optional)
The codec can be mounted in a rack using optional rack ears. The rack ears can be oriented so the connector panel faces either forward or backward.
Connecting Antennas (for radio version only)
For radio versions, connect the antennas to the designated connectors on the codec.
Connecting Cables
Connect the necessary codec cables, including power, network (Ethernet or Wi-Fi), and any camera control or audio/video cables as per the diagrams provided. For the SpeakerTrack 60, connect its power cable and adapter (12VDC, minimum 5A).
Powering On and Software Setup
Turn on the screen and then the codec. The system powers up automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions on the Welcome screen to complete the initial setup. It is recommended to upgrade the software on the Codec Pro before use. Further details can be found in the Administrator Guide, available at: https://www.cisco.com/go/roomkit-docs.
