Precautions ⚠️

• Operating temperature range: -30°C to 60°C. Do not use outside this range.
• IP66 dust-tight and water-resistant rating. Avoid extremely humid environments or locations prone to water ingress.
• Power adapter is for indoor use only and is not waterproof. Operating temperature range for adapter: -30°C to 45°C.
• To improve performance, avoid placing the lens facing or near reflective surfaces (e.g., glass windows, white walls) which can cause overexposure or washed-out images.
• Ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal ?. Do not install near microwave ovens or other devices that may interfere with the signal.
• When enabling/disabling night vision, the infrared cut-off filter will switch with a slight clicking sound, which is normal.
• If the power cable is damaged, contact the after-sales service team for replacement.
• Product nameplate information is located on the bottom of the product.

How to Use ?️

Installing a microSD Card ?

Make sure the camera is unplugged. Remove the waterproof cover from the microSD card slot and insert a microSD card with its contact side facing up. (See Fig. C-1)

CAUTION: Unplug the camera when inserting or removing the microSD card. Use a microSD card from a qualified brand. The camera supports microSD cards up to 256 GB in FAT32 format. Cards 64 GB and above may require FAT32 formatting via the Xiaomi Home app (Settings > Manage Storage). A read/write speed of U1/Class 10 or higher is recommended.

Note: After inserting or removing the microSD card, ensure the waterproof cover is reinstalled correctly to prevent water ingress.

Turning On ?

Plug the power adapter cable into the camera's power port. The camera will turn on automatically. (See Fig. C-2)

The camera is successfully turned on when the indicator light is solid orange and a voice notification is heard.

Note: Use the original power adapter cable. Do not force the camera lens to rotate. If the lens position is inaccurate, calibrate it in the Xiaomi Home app.

Indicator Status ?

• Orange: Awaiting connection / Reset successful
• Blinking orange: Connecting to network...
• Blinking blue: Connecting to server / OTA update in progress...
• Blue: Connected successfully / Working normally

Connecting with the Xiaomi Home App ?

This product works with the Xiaomi Home app for control and interaction with other smart home devices.

Scan the QR code (?) to download and install the app. If the app is already installed, you will be directed to the connection setup page. Alternatively, search for "Xiaomi Home" in your app store to download and install it. Open the Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" in the upper right corner, and follow the on-screen instructions to add your device.

Note: App versions may be updated; follow instructions based on the current app version. Ensure a stable network connection and that the camera is on with an orange indicator light when connecting. The indicator will turn blue upon successful connection.

Reset ?

Press and hold the reset button for approximately 7 seconds if you need to change the network or the Xiaomi account connected to the camera. A voice notification will be heard once the reset is complete.

Note: Resetting the camera will not delete any data on the microSD card.

Installation ?️

Wall-mounted Installation:

1. Stick the mounting template sticker in the correct position on the wall, ensuring the right side of the sticker is over 50 cm from the corner. Drill holes in the wall that align with the sticker's holes, approximately 6 mm in diameter and 35 mm deep. (See Fig. D-1)
2. Insert the plastic wall plugs into the drilled holes. (See Fig. D-2)
3. Attach the wall mount to the wall by inserting screws into the holes and screwing them into the wall plugs. If the power cable is routed upwards, it should pass through the groove in the wall mount before the mount is screwed to the wall. (See Fig. D-3)

Ceiling Installation:

1. Turn the camera base upward, align it with the clip on the mounting bracket, and tighten the screw on the right side. (See Fig. D-4)

After securing the camera, wrap waterproof tape around the power port to prevent water ingress. (See Fig. D-5)

Cautions for Installation:

• The wall must be able to support at least three times the total weight of the camera.
• To prevent injury, the camera must be securely fixed to the wall according to the installation instructions.
• Do not install near heat sources, such as outdoor air conditioning units, range hood outlets, or gas water heater outlets.

Installing Waterproof Network Port Accessories ??

The accessories include: Sealing Ring (E-1-1), Network Cable (E-2-1), Waterproof Sleeve (E-2-2), Stopper (E-2-3), and Waterproof Rear Cover (E-2-4).

Once installed, these accessories improve the network port's waterproof performance.

1. Place the sealing ring on the camera's network port. (See Fig. E-1)
2. Thread the waterproof rear cover, stopper, and waterproof sleeve over the network cable in order. (See Fig. E-2)
3. Plug the network cable into the port.
4. Screw together the waterproof sleeve and sealing ring, then screw together the waterproof rear cover and waterproof sleeve. (See Fig. E-3)

If the network cable is not used, the waterproof accessories should still be installed. Use a shielded network cable.
