Installation Safety Precautions
Electrical Connection
- This appliance must be properly grounded for safety. The power cord has a three-prong plug for standard three-prong wall outlets.
- Never cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord.
- Requires a standard 240 Volt AC ~/50Hz electrical ground outlet with a three-prong plug. Have the wall outlet and circuit checked by a qualified electrician for proper grounding. If a 2-prong outlet is encountered, it is your responsibility to replace it with a properly grounded 3-prong outlet.
- Secure the cord behind the appliance, ensuring it is not exposed or dangling.
- Plug the appliance into its own individual electrical outlet matching the voltage rating on the appliance label. This ensures best performance and prevents overloading house wiring.

- Immediately repair or replace frayed or damaged power cords. Do not use cords with cracks or abrasion damage.
- Be careful not to damage the power cord when moving the appliance.
- Consult a qualified electrician if grounding instructions are unclear or if there is doubt about proper grounding.
Extension Cord

- If a long cord set or extension cord is used:
- The electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord must be at least equal to the appliance's rating.
- The extension cord must be a grounding-type, 3-wire cord.
