Installation
Unpacking
To prevent oil in the air-tight compressor from flowing into the cooling circuit, carry, store, and handle the machine in a vertical position.
If the machine was tilted during transport, keep it upright for approximately 30 minutes before operating to allow oil to return to the compressor.
- Remove cardboard and plastic covering.
- Ensure the machine has not been damaged.
- Remove the plastic film from all stainless steel panels.
- Before operating, remove the green plastic plug(s) from the tap(s). (Refer to Fig. 1 for tap illustration).
CAUTION: Dispose of packaging materials correctly. Do not leave within reach of children.
Positioning
- Place the machine on a sturdy horizontal surface.
- For improved ventilation, maintain a distance of 6 inches between the unit and walls or other obstacles. Increase this distance if obstacles are a heating source. (Refer to Fig. 2 for clearance diagram).
- Leave 60 inches of free space in front of the machine for easy use and maintenance. (Refer to Fig. 2).
- Leave 10 inches of free space above the machine for lid removal. (Refer to Fig. 2).
- Adjust the rubber legs to level the machine once in place.
Electrical Connection
If in doubt, consult a specialized electrical technician.
Before plugging into the electrical outlet, carefully read the following precautions:
- Ensure the machine is properly connected to an efficient grounding system, in compliance with current safety standards.
- Verify that the voltage matches the "serial number" tag applied on the chassis.
- Confirm that the available current is sufficient for the machine's maximum requirement.
- If needed, use only approved multiple outlets compliant with current safety standards.
- If in doubt, consult only specialized technicians.
- By law, the machine must always be grounded.
Operation
CAUTION: Before using the machine, all food contact surfaces and components must be cleaned and sanitized according to the Washing & Sanitizing section.
Preparing the Product
Concentrate
To obtain a homogeneous mix, the product will need to be pre-mixed before being added to the machine. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for mixing.
Ready-to-Use & Pre-Mixed Concentrates
- Turn the machine OFF and unplug from the power supply.
- Pour liquid into the bowl. (Refer to Fig. 3 for pouring illustration).
- DO NOT pour below the MIN Level (3-4 L).
- DO NOT pour above the MAX Level.
Cold Drinks
CAUTION: DO NOT run the pump without liquid.
- Prepare the product separately before proceeding.
- Ensure the main switch (A) is in the [OFF] position and plug in the machine. (Refer to Fig. 4 for control illustration).
- Before starting the machine, ensure the bowls are properly closed with their covers.
- Turn the main switch (A) to the [ON] position; the refrigerant group unit will automatically start. (Refer to Fig. 4).
- To start the mixing action, turn the mixing system switch (B) to the [ON] position. There is a switch for each container. (Refer to Fig. 4).
- To pour a drink, press the drinking glass lightly against the lever.
Beverage Temperature Regulator
CAUTION: Remove power plug before adjusting temperature.
- Every dispenser has been tested and the thermostat is set at approximately +5°C.
- To adjust the temperature, turn the thermostat knob clockwise to set a lower temperature. (Refer to Fig. 6 for thermostat illustration).
- For machines with an internal thermostat, remove the left or rear side panel (for machines with 2 compressors).
- To disassemble the side panels, loosen the screws on the panels, push up, then unlatch.
- To adjust the temperature, turn the thermostat handle clockwise to set a lower temperature.
Cleaning
CAUTION: The machine must be turned OFF and unplugged from the power source before cleaning.
Disassembly
(Refer to Fig. 7 for disassembly illustration).
- Lift the lid off.
- Pull the mixer off.
- Lift the container with both hands using a light, swinging motion. If difficult, dampen the steel refrigerator and gasket, then repeat.
- To remove the container's gasket, lift it from its setting.
- To disassemble the panels, unscrew the nuts on the panels, push up, then unlatch.
- To reassemble the unit, repeat the above operations in reverse.
Cleaning
Do not use abrasive powders which might impair the container and lid's shine.
- Use neutral soap and lukewarm water to wash the container, lid, mixer/pump, refrigerator, and tap.
- Rinse carefully with water to remove any soap residue.
- For sanitation, wash parts with a solution of cold water and sodium hypochlorite (bleach) at a ratio of 10 grams (approx. 1/2 spoon) per liter of water. Rinse with lukewarm water. Use a soft brush for better cleaning and sanitation.
- If the dispenser is out of use for a long period, remove the power plug, clean all parts carefully, keep the dispenser away from dust, and cover it with a plastic sheet.
Servicing
Any necessary repairs should be undertaken exclusively by an authorized repair center, using original replacement parts. The electrical cord should not be replaced by the user.
- After disconnecting the dispenser, remove panels and clean inside parts, especially condenser fins, with a brush. (Refer to Fig. 8 for condenser illustration).
- Dust reduces machine performance; clean at least once a month.
- The dispenser does not require oiling.
Disposal
When the machine is no longer in use, dispose of it properly. If still operational, sell it through an authorized organization or company.
Troubleshooting
CAUTION: Problems marked with this symbol [!] must be handled by a specialized technician.
