This guide provides instructions for setting up your Tapo Security Camera.

App Download and Setup

Follow these steps to download the Tapo app and set up your camera:

Step 1: Download the App
Get the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Set Up
Tap the [+] button in the app and select your camera model. Follow the app instructions to complete the setup.

Safety Information

Please read and follow the safety information provided to ensure safe operation of the device. Improper use may lead to accidents or damage. Use the product with care and at your own risk.

Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device. Contact support if service is needed.
Do not use damaged chargers or USB cables.
Use only recommended chargers.
Do not use the device where wireless devices are prohibited.
The adapter should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
For indoor cameras: Keep the device away from water, fire, humidity, or hot environments.
For outdoor cameras: Keep the device away from fire or hot environments. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. The adapter should be used indoors where the ambient temperature is 40°C or lower.
