Tire Information

Your cables, spokes, and chain will stretch after an initial break-in period of 50-100mi (80-160km), and bolted connections can loosen. Always have a certified, reputable bike mechanic perform a tune-up on your Pace 500.3 after your initial break-in period (depending on riding conditions). Regular inspections and tune-ups are important for ensuring your bike remains safe and fun to ride.

The PACE 500.3 uses 27.5" x 2.1" rubber tires with inner tubes, designed for durability and safety. Check tires for proper inflation and condition before each use. Proper inflation, care, and timely replacement maintain operational characteristics and prevent unsafe conditions.

Aventon Bikes recommends 30-50 PSI (2.0-3.5 BAR) for the stock tires. Always stay within the manufacturer's recommended air pressure range on the tire sidewall.

[!] It is critical that proper air pressure is maintained. DO NOT underinflate or overinflate. Low pressure can lead to loss of control; overinflated tires may explode. Failure to maintain correct pressure may result in tire/wheel failure.

Inflate tires from a regulated air source with a gauge. Unregulated sources may overinflate. Tires can get flats from punctures, pinches, impact, etc. When tire wear is evident or a flat occurs, replace tires/tubes before operating the bike to prevent injury or damage.

When changing a tire or tube, ensure all air pressure is removed from the inner tube first to prevent serious injury.

Using aftermarket tires or inner tubes not provided by Aventon Bikes may void your warranty, create unsafe conditions, or damage your bike. Ensure replacement tires have sufficient reflective sidewall striping if required by law.

For tire/tube replacement procedures or inflation questions, contact Aventon Bikes Product Support: https://support.aventon.com/contact-us or call 1-866-300-3311.

Derailleur

On the right handlebar, next to the brake lever, are two levers for 8-1 gears. These are derailleur levers. Pressing them moves the chain to different gears to change your riding experience.

Shipping damage claims are time-sensitive. Inspect the ebike immediately upon receipt. Aventon will not replace components damaged during independent shipping methods.

Claims Process:

Aventon requires photos or video of damaged components before replacement. To exercise your right to replacement:

  • Contact Aventon Product Support via https://support.aventon.com/contact-us or phone at (866) 300-3311.
  • The support team will help identify potential fixes.
  • If replacement is needed, you will receive instructions for returning the defective component and receiving a new one.
  • The support team will assist with installation of the new component.
  • You are responsible for shipping costs for returns unless Aventon agrees otherwise in writing. Replacement components ship to the original purchaser's address.

The remedies described are exclusive. Aventon's liability is limited to the amount paid for the ebike and does not cover consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages.

Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages.

This limited warranty grants specific legal rights, and you may have other rights varying by state.

To the extent permissible by law, Aventon disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, for the duration of this express warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranty duration.
