Safety Instructions

• Read and follow all safety instructions.
• The product is not water-resistant; exercise caution during installation and use.
• Use only the provided power adapter.
• Be cautious of static electricity during installation and usage. Keep the product away from sharp objects or strong corrosive chemicals.
• When bending the strip lights, avoid folding the LED components to prevent affecting the product's lifespan.
• Remove nails, metal, or other conductive objects from the installation surface before attaching the strip light to prevent short-circuiting.
• Do not install the strip lights near heat sources.
• Do not allow children to install the strip lights unsupervised.
• Avoid installing the strip lights near potentially dangerous sources (e.g., candles, liquid-filled objects).
• Unroll the strip lights completely before powering them on.

Thank you for choosing the Govee RGB LED Strip Lights. This product features a 15m RGB strip light and supports control via the Govee Home app, as well as voice control with Alexa and Google Assistant.

• Press to turn the lights on/off.

Installing Your Device

Before You Install

• Unpack the box and verify all items against the packing list.
• Power on the strip lights briefly to check if they illuminate correctly.

Installing Steps

1. Wipe the installation surface to ensure it is clean and dry.
2. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive tape on the strip light. Carefully stick the strip onto the prepared surface and press firmly along its length. For added security, especially around corners, use the provided clips.
3. Peel off the protective film from the control box and attach it to your chosen location.
4. Connect the power adapter to the strip light and plug it into a power outlet. Power on the strip lights and begin using them.

Pairing Your Device with the Govee Home App

What You Need

• A Wi-Fi router supporting 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands (5GHz is not supported).
• A smartphone or tablet running iOS or Android.

Pairing Instructions

1. Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Open the Govee Home app, tap the '+' icon located in the top right corner, and search for the device model "H614A".
4. Tap the device icon that appears and follow the on-screen instructions within the app to complete the pairing process.

Controlling the Device with Your Voice

To control your Govee lights using voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant:

1. Open the Govee Home app and navigate to the device's details page by tapping its icon.
2. Tap the settings icon (gear symbol ⚙️) in the top right corner of the device details page.
3. Select the "Using Guidance" option and follow the provided on-screen instructions to link your Govee account with your preferred voice assistant (Alexa or Google Assistant).

Troubleshooting

• Issue: The adhesive tape is not strong enough.
  • Ensure the installation surface is clean and dry.
  • Press firmly over the strip after sticking it down.
  • Reinforce the installation using additional clips and tape if necessary.
• Issue: Cannot connect to Bluetooth.
  • Do not skip the Bluetooth connection step within the app.
  • Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  • Your smartphone might be incompatible with the Govee Home app. Try using a different smartphone to establish the connection.
  • Power cycle both the strip lights and your smartphone's Bluetooth, then attempt to connect again.
  • Ensure your smartphone is within 1 meter (3.28 ft) of the strip lights during connection.
  • Remove any physical obstructions between the strip lights and your smartphone.
• Issue: The strip lights do not display the full selected color, or some LED beads do not light up.

• Issue: Cannot sync the strip lights to the beat of the music.
  • Move the control box closer to the music source.
  • Clean the microphone (mic) on the control box and try again.
• Issue: Cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
  • Do not skip the Wi-Fi connection steps in the app.
  • The device does not support 5GHz networks. Ensure your router is set to 2.4GHz and then reset it.
  • Connect your phone to Wi-Fi and confirm that the network is functioning correctly.
  • Double-check that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
  • Consider changing your Wi-Fi password to a simpler one, preferably 8 alphanumeric characters.
  • Try connecting the strip lights to your smartphone's Wi-Fi hotspot to test router compatibility.
• Issue: Cannot connect to Alexa.
  • Unplug and firmly reconnect all parts of the strip lights.
  • Reset your smartphone's Wi-Fi connection.
  • Unplug the power adapter port and then plug it back in.
