User Guide
Controller Overview
The Daikin Madoka Heating Simplified Remote Controller provides intuitive control over your heating system.
The controller features a circular display with a central temperature reading. Around the display are several touch-sensitive areas and indicators.
- 1. On/Off Button: Located on the left side of the display. Press to start or stop the operation mode. Represented by a power symbol [power-symbol].
- 2. Daikin Eye: A status indicator light. Illuminates blue when the system is operating normally. Illuminates red when the system is in fault.
- 3. Operation Indicator: Icons on the display show different operation screens, such as Central Heating or Hot Water status.
- 4. Increase Button: Located on the right side of the display. Press to increase the temperature. Represented by a plus symbol [+].
- 5. Decrease Button: Located on the right side of the display. Press to decrease the temperature. Represented by a minus symbol [-].
- 6. Confirm Button: Located at the bottom center of the display. Press to enter the user menu.
Operating Modes
From the home screen, pressing the [O] button cycles through the available operation screens:
- Room Temperature: Displays the current room temperature and allows adjustment to the desired room temperature.
- Hot Water Temperature: Shows the current hot water tank temperature and allows adjustment to the desired temperature (dependent on unit setup).
- Hot Water Boost: Enables or disables the hot water boost function.
Using the [+] or [-] buttons allows you to adjust the temperature displayed on the current operation screen.
Detailed Screen Explanations:
- Room Temperature: Displays the actual room temperature, with manual override facility. Example: 20.5°C.
- Hot Water: Shows the current storage temperature of the hot water cylinder, with manual facility. Example: 56°C.
- Hot Water Boost: Allows enabling or disabling the hot water boost. This is done by selecting the program using the [+] or [-] buttons and confirming with the [O] button. The screen shows an icon representing the boost status.
