Installing the Stability Strap

Step 1
Prepare to attach the stability strap. One hand holds the headset band, while another hand holds a strap attachment. An arrow indicates the attachment should be inserted into a circular opening on the headset band.

Starting a Shift - Wireless Headset
Follow these steps to start a shift using your Honeywell wireless headset.

Step 6: Select Device
Choose your device from the charging or docking station. An icon featuring a play/pause symbol indicates the active device.

Step 7: Power On SRX Device
Press and hold the power button on the SRX2 (or SRX device). The indicator light should turn solid green.

Step 8: Connect Headset to Device
For Personal Devices: Touch the electronic module of the wireless headset to the mobile device at the designated symbol (likely NFC or pairing indicator).
For Shared Devices: First, touch the headset headband to the device at the symbol. Then, touch the electronic module to the device at the symbol.

Step 9: Position Headset and Microphone
Put on the headset and adjust the microphone. Position the microphone approximately 1 inch (2 cm) from the corner of your mouth for optimal voice capture.

Ending a Shift - Wireless Headset
Follow these steps to properly end your shift and store your Honeywell wireless headset.

Step 1: Power Off Device
Press and hold the Play/Pause button on the device until the LED indicator rotates red, indicating it is powered off.

Step 2: Slide Device Out of Holster
Remove the device from its holster. For A730 models, pull the device away, sliding it along the clip. For A710 or A720 models, open the Velcro and slide the device out.

Step 3: Insert into Slot
Insert the device into its designated slot. Ensure the button controls face outwards and the Operator button is on top.

Step 4: Power Off Headset
Power off the wireless headset.

Step 5: Remove Battery
To remove the battery, squeeze the battery release buttons on the sides.

Step 6: Place in Charger
Place the device or headset components into the appropriate charging unit.

Step 7: Remove Belt
If applicable, remove the belt by releasing the buckle.

Charging the Headset Battery
